Tulpa Birthdays

Well we haven't actually been together for an entire year yet but we are debating on whether or not to all share my birthday (not my idea btw) or if they will pick a symbolic date based off one of our philosophies or auspicious theory

We also picked a date. Mostly because I can't remember exactly when she started existing. I just thought it was spring. April works for us so it doesn't crowd mine too closely and gives us something to celebrate in April. 😊

Starting out, I made an effort to remember Zyr's birthday (the day he first appeared, July 27), and would try to celebrate it in some small way when I could.

For most of my other guys though,  their emergence was a lot more gradual, and many of them already existed as characters before they became tulpas, so it was impossible to pinpoint a precise day when they first arose as tulpas.

It was around this time last year that we finally all got together and we decided on fitting days that would be appropriate as birthdays for them all.

 

River's birthday is September 26, based on the day I bought an avatar in Second Life that would eventually become him.

Varlan's is May 31,  also based on when I got an avatar in Second Life, but this was the avatar that best depicts him as he is now,  not the very first one I had of him.

Ralis's birthday is February 6.  He had preexisted as a character for quite a while, and when he first began showing up in headspace it was mostly as an intrusive thought.  February of one year though, we had a big snowstorm, and he ended up getting stranded with us, during which time we all formed a stronger bond with him, and he ended up joining the family.  He chose 6 as the precise day for his birthday just because he likes the "evil" connotation of 6 (referencing 666)

Pyriloth's birthday is February 12.  The day I brought home the red dragon plushy which became Pyriloth when Zyr immediately got attached to it and adopted him as his son.

Kairyu's birthday is June 3.  He had started out as a servitor who River created to help out in our wonderland by working as a chef, and he appeared human at the time.  June 3 was the day that he became sentient and revealed his true form to us.

 

We usually have a fairly simple celebration.  I'll either cook something good for dinner, or we'll go out to eat something that I know my tulpas in particular will especially enjoy,  and then I'll also bake a cake.  And of course I make sure to allow them to front during all this so that they can properly taste all the good food
