Hey!

 

Do you have any pets?

 

I don't exactly know why I felt like asking this... Maybe it's because of the fact that yesterday I posted something about speaking animals languages in the Forum Games section. And also because my cat scratched my hand (yesterday too), and for some reason those things made me think about your pets.

 

So, yeah, do you have any pets? What are their names? Do your tulpas like them?

 

I have a cat (named Ulises) and a dog (called Uma).

Also, feel free to post any experiences you had with your tulpa(s) and pet(s).

I have a dog (named Xander) and a cat (named Soda Jones). The cat I barely see, she's a crochety old lady, the dog I rarely not-see, he's super needy and not shy about being vocal around people. Isa isn't a huge fan of cats once they stop being adorable, and since mine is shaped like a pear and super crabby she's not fond of her. She loves Xander, but he plays rough a little to readily and has really impressive and nicely shaped claws. He's also very pawsy, likes to try and grab or hold things with them and since my skin is rather delicate she worries for me sometimes.

 

Isa has a pet wolpertinger (mythical creature, like a jackolope with wings and fangs) in our headspace. I don't think it has a name yet, I haven't really thought to ask. :P

I have a cat. She's a Chinchilla Longhair with light beige colored fur and amber eyes. She doesn't like strangers, and only comes to me when she wants to be pet. She's cold, distant, and prefers munching on plastic bags to playing with 25$ toys.

 

Her name is Melahat, which is an Arabic name. It translates into "the one with the beautiful face". Cél has shown no interest/ distaste in her yet.

 

I have no other pets, but I look after tons of street animals. Some of them have become quite familiar with me, and they follow me around when they see me. I'm good with animals, in general.

Jamie's either ambivalent or exceedingly distracted by the cat's presence. It switches all the time.

Our host has a black cat named Percy. I think he's hilarious, since he's extremely playful, but also extremely clumsy. He falls off furniture a lot, ha ha. (But never high enough to hurt himself, which would be much less funny)

 

The rest of the headmates run the gamut from "omg he's the cutest kitty EVER" (Ayo) to "What even is the point of an indoor cat and why is it such a little ****" (Joss). Most are pretty ambivalent, especially the ones who never interact with him.

 

He had the name "Percy" when our host adopted him, but she kept it since one of her "characters" (read: what we called soulbonds before we knew soulbonding was a thing) was also named Percy. Which is funny, because Cat Percy and Soulbond Percy are pretty much exact opposites... one very playful and curious and the other serious and stoic. Soulbond Percy is mostly baffled by the cat. He's always been more of a dog person. ;)

AAHH YES, Ana has some baby rats and Vyx and I think they're the most precious cuties! She also has a cat, who is always so sweet and cuddles with her at night or whenever she sits at her laptop for a while. Her name is Evelyn, i think she's my favorite. :3

 

i like ana's rats the best, they're albino and one of named elegy, which i think is super cool cuz of the definition of the word. the other is named ailen, and i really wanna hold them but, ana says they're still getting used to their new home.

 

eh, i'm not much for animals but, i do kinda like the dogs around here. from a distance anyway, they're still too hyperactive for me to deal with. i think i'd agree with Kovie on this one, i like Evelyn best, though the rats might grow on me if i ever get the chance to hold them.

I have two dogs! I use a "doggy voice" a lot when they're around, DP thinks it's annoying hehe

 

he doesnt have much of an opinion of them otherwise, though !

Hey guys, thank you for sharing a little about your pets! Here, since Seren's not vocal yet, I can't tell whether she likes Uma and Ulises or not, but I have a feeling she'll most likely be fond of them (seeing as my cat loves to cuddle when it's bedtime, and my dog stays by my side when I'm relaxing on the couch. They're around me a lot throughout the day :P).

 

Still, who knows!? :)

I have a cat named Summer, and she... well we think she hates Alex, because I have a wll of art that I've commissioned of him and of all the walls in the RV that is the only wall she ever scratches. XD Alex resents her so much it's kinda funny too cuz in his universe cats are supposed to hate vampires so it's realistic.

Plastics have all sorts of hormone disruptors and toxins in them. Please don't let your pets (of any kind) chew them. Get wood blocks for rodents or rabbits, and cloth toys for dogs.
