Something beyond just it's form.
YourCatBeany July 8, 2016 July 8, 2016 The teleporting. Usually from the outside world into my head and back, with a poof sound and a little poof of smoke/sparks. I guess we both figured this was the most logical way to do it. I don't know if it counts but I can hear her wings buzz when she flies and her hooves hit the ground when she walks, and she makes squeaky sounds like the moth species that half of her is based on. She has all kinds of clothes and accessories that she can change at will, almost all of which I create for her, based on actual things and modified to fit her. Casual shirts, sports jerseys, hoodies, a leather jacket, a scarf, coat, and wing covers/guards for winter, a gold chain, a pair of aviators... And a diamond studded gold bracelet, but that one is special, and she hasn't taken it off since I put it there. The only accessory she's made for herself is a pair of reading glasses, that I caught her wearing while going through "files" on a floating screen while relaxing in my head. Guest Anonymous July 8, 2016 July 8, 2016 The teleportation sounds cool! Melian does something similar, and disappears with a popping sound, leaving nothing but colored sparkles and a cloud of butterflies. Nice accessory list!
Vos July 8, 2016 July 8, 2016 Otherwise... no? Unless you count their appearances always being relatively untouched by whatever activity they do. No messed up hair or outfits or anything. Outside of this, there's nothing notable from our group. There aren't any "special features" to be seen.

Hum, yeah, only that here too, that I noted. The teleportation also is just normal. Well, as Melian said it seems like superfluous for me, but still are a nice thing :). Cecilia is the only tulpa, is about my age (in form), changes it once in a while and just enjoys to see the circus catch fire :P I go by Ephemeral because it's a nice word, but maybe just Ephe is shorter. SomethingDire July 14, 2016 July 14, 2016 Cél has a ton of accessories; ranging from hairpins to necklaces, torcs, armlets, bracelets, anklets.. Oh, and a lot of rings. Nearly all of them have engraved gems in their designs, so you know, just a lot of sparkles. A lot of sparkles everywhere. He also has his own line of clothing that is equally, uh, "show-offy", if not even more so. Other than that, he "decorates" his spots in the headspace with cushions, lanterns, vases, flowers, fruits.. You get the idea. Oh, and sometimes stuff just kinda appears out of nowhere if he keeps lingering there. Don't think there's anything more that I can add. I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.

We were originally thinking visual or auditory effects like music or sparkles or something. But people seem to be expanding on what we mean by special effects. But that's okay. A threat assessment system is pretty neato.

In wolf form, Luna's eyes glow brightly and Sol's eyes leak a dark substance that I can only describe thusly: You know when you stare at the sun and then look away, and you get those weird blotchy/ghost images in your vision that are super distracting? That's the color of his eye drop thingies. After the liquid leaves his eyes, it falls for a couple inches and then vanishes like smoke. That's probably more what you were looking for.
