A lot of people have had ADD/ADHD, I'm pretty sure Albert Einstein had ADHD and Stephen Hawking has a mild form of ADD. Wouldn't go as far as to call it a mental handicap, in general at least. You might have it bad, I don't know. Then again, in my opinion, as long as you aren't stripping down to your 'tighty whities', going into a crowd of people and screaming out "**** the popo!" or some other extremity then there's nothing wrong with you. I guess you could consider it somewhat of a handicap as it does inhibit you in some ways but you should be able to function without it if you don't like taking them. Or if it' some kind of weird side effects with the pills, there are probably better brands you could try. Iskallos October 12, 2012 October 12, 2012 I have heard that the symptoms can rarely include psychotic episodes with ADD medication and if that's true, you should definitely stop, I'd tell your doctor about it. Heck, maybe they made your dose too high and lowering it could remove your problem. Is your ADD really so bad that you 'need' to take pills? If you want to quit it all together, you could learn to concentrate better so it isn't as much of a problem, I've heard meditation (without the tulpa part) has helped a few people with ADD concentrate a bit better. I'm no super smart medical student and so don't take anything I said to literally, if that would be been done in the first place. The best thing to do would be to consult your doctor and get them to lower your dose.
