Jamie December 4, 2019 December 4, 2019 It would... I spent a lot of my younger childhood living there, and my grandfather is a good man. I might actually get his house when he dies. It's left between my mother and her brother, but he's across the country, what does he want with a modular home in Illinois? My mom says it's much more likely she'll give him a little more of the money from what they'll inherit. Sorta depends on the timing of his death. If I don't need a house or I'm across the country or whatever, then they'll just sell. But I can really see it happening, me living there as an adult. His cats are both real characters that others might see as unlovable, but I love them. Me, that house, those cats. Fenced in backyard. Close to my favorite place on Earth (besides under my blankets), the local nature preservation where I've both played, took dates, attended funerals, and volunteered. If I get married I want to get married there, people often do. I want to be buried there, my uncle and grandmother are, my grandfather will be. My mom thinks I'm going to run off to California or something but I really think I prefer a very small corner of this big planet... the internet also exists. I live in a university town as well, this isn't "I was raised in a redneck Walmart-less town and My Blood Is Drawn To Return." The world is far, the world is wide; the man needs someone by his side.
