Fastdash March 23, 2019 Author March 23, 2019 Yeah, i figured i took it wrong. Well getting to vocality should be number one, especially since that investment could pay off later. What would you suggest to help develop vocality beyond simple responses?

Fastdash March 27, 2019 Author March 27, 2019 3/26/2019 A fair bit has happened over the past few days. While there hasn't been much development, I've been trying to interact more with Wigglytuff. One of the major things I did was try the Tulpa Vocaliztion Practice by Indigo Felight. Wigglytuff gave me some interesting responses during the first exercise, such as saying rock in reply to sparkly and soccer in response to football. However, during the madlibs portion, he kept putting bird as a noun and pretty as an adjective. He had pretty birds on the brain, which is kind of funny since in PMD: Explorers of Sky, Guildmaster Wigglytuff's assistant was a chatot. Was Wigglytuff referring to him the whole time? I also found out he seemed to like similar things to me during the personality questions portion. His favorite color is blue like me, he likes dolphins, fish (despite never eating it), and likes playing games. However, he still has trouble with deciding between two options and uses "Yeah" as a reply to many things I say. Other than that, we got the fifth gym badge in Pokemon White today. He seems to be enjoying the game, but the grindy portions are boring. I think he's also been getting better at the game, telling me to switch out when I think I should but ask for his advice, and selecting good moves to use when I ask for input. We also watched a video by Adam Millard called "What Makes Video Game Stories Special?" He seemed to have trouble understanding the video, kind of like me, but I used it as an opportunity to discuss how much games meant to me and why I loved my experiences with them, from being part of a grand plot or creating my own. During this, I told him one of my dreams which is to create video games. He seems on board to help me out with that when we get enough experience too. That's about it from what I know. I'm hoping his vocality will develop more soon and we will start being able to talk more in-depth about certain topics.
evgenirus March 27, 2019 March 27, 2019 If my Sunny is any indication, Wigglytuff might just not have an opinion on most things yet. Sunny answered some questions easily, some even with passion, but generally she just didn't know what to say and it annoyed her to no end. Especially when she gave answers inconsistent with previous and I asked why. 𝝮mega system: [Jay] (evgenirus, Evg), host; [Sunny] (rarely Alice), older tulpa; [Pinkie] (Ponka, Diane), younger walk-in tulpa. Our progress report thread. // Prior to May 2019 we used colored text here (Sunny, Pinkie, Jay), but it messes with themes.
Fastdash April 1, 2019 Author April 1, 2019 3/31/2019 I don't have much activity to report, but what I do have is pretty interesting to me. It appears that Wigglytuff is starting to ask his own questions about things, asking why I'm doing something or what something is. Though these are few and far between, they seem to be a good sign that progress is being made. However, he usually goes back to only making simple responses afterward. I haven't been narrating as much recently, only when playing games with him or when I remember. I've been distracted recently, but I'm trying to make the times I do narrate and talk with him count. Other than that, our Pokemon White playthrough is going well. We have obtained the sixth gym badge and our team is close to being completely filled with completely evolved pokemon. Our current team consists or samurott, stoutland, darmanitan, krokorok, cofagrigus, and throh. We might stick with that team through the rest of the game. The two of us have also caught 44 different pokemon. I don't believe I've felt any head pressures or strong emotions yet. He seems to only really be communicating through his mindvoice. If school does not stress me out too much, I'm planning on trying to focus on him a lot more.
Fastdash April 4, 2019 Author April 4, 2019 4/3/2019 Yesterday I decided to take Wigglytuff out on a walk in my town to show him something other than my school or my house. It was from the store and back, which was probably around 30 minutes. He did seem to enjoy it though, and he seems to want to do it again sometime. However, the real interesting thing was what happened when I tried active forcing for the first time in a while. After trying to meditate with some decent results, I was able to focus on my wonderland with only a few interruptions in my mind. Things were still fuzzy in the background, but I could see Wigglytuff decently. We talked about the day and stuff, but I noticed that he was starting to use simple phrases. I forgot what they exactly were, but I was impressed. The session only lasted a few minutes though since we couldn't think of too much to talk about. Today I didn't have as good of progress. I tried active forcing again after playing Pokemon White with him, and I couldn't get the same results. I asked him if what he said was his words and if I was parroting him, and he kept saying I was. The pattern seemed to repeat even when passive forcing. However, I did notice that his body began to move in more natural ways and not in the repetitive motions, so maybe he is finally starting to get used to his new body. I still haven't felt any alien emotions or signs of tulpish. Even when I accidentally think of him when watching stuff I think would upset him, he doesn't seem to react at all. He seems to be pretty fine with things when I ask about them too. I have a few questions now. 1. Will it become easier to focus on active forcing as I keep practicing? 2. Is the lack of emotional or tulpish responses normal? 3. Is the lack of reactions to potentially upsetting stimuli a sign of underdevelopment, him having a personality trait that allows him to handle things like that, or something else?
Guest April 4, 2019 April 4, 2019 1. The best approach is to active force a little each day. Just like muscles, you don't need to force constantly, just enough to get some mental exercise. 2. Ever? It is pretty normal not to get emotional responses constantly, some days, i don't think even I have an emotional response all day. My tulpas emotional responses also aren't perfect crystal clear, they're slightly muted, so i usually only notice the strongest ones, like anger, fear and love. 3. Oh no, of course not. The lack of response to potentially negative stumuli is how this patchwork bear works now, it great if Ashley doesn't get upset when talking about parallel processing, that way, she can do it and I'll go hide under a desk. They have different life experiences than you do, so of course they'll react differently. Also personality plays a big role, Misha and Dashie are very different in terms of personality, so they'll react differently to different things even though they've mostly had the same life experiences to a large degree.
Fastdash April 5, 2019 Author April 5, 2019 4/4/2019 I have some great news from today! I tried active forcing again. After getting some focus from a short meditation session, I went into the wonderland with Wigglytuff. This time, I decided to put us in a boat in the middle of a lake surrounded by a pine forest on all sides. The sky was mostly clear except for a few clouds. Things seemed pretty standard until Wigglytuff found out I couldn't swim. The next thing I know, Wigglytuff jumped off the side of the boat and began swimming around. Then he jumps out of the water and lands on the other side, doing it over and over in a figure-eight pattern and defying the laws of physics. I ask him how he's doing it, and he tells me he does not know. We then rowed the boat to shore and went to a nearby town. It was similar to Treasure Town from PMD: Explorers of Sky, but it wasn't as detailed and didn't have much in it. Without any other ideas, I decided to head down a path to my left and towards a shop which was run by a kecleon like in the PMD games. Since he wasn't doing anything, I had to control him. We bought two apples, one for each of us, and headed back to the shore of the lake. Wigglytuff and I began to eat our apples. However, Wigglytuff took one bite, before shoving the rest of the apple into his mouth and it seemingly disappeared from existence. He didn't even seem to chew or even swallow it. After that, I decided to stop active forcing for the day so we could take a break. The environment was hard to imagine and we seemed to teleport across long distances, but other than that, it was a remarkable success. Though I was only getting simple responses, we communicated for the entire session and he seemed to enjoy it as well. Could this be a sign he's starting to develop independence?
