[Misha] Yay, corroboration! It just makes the most sense to us.

[bear] it took me a decade, I'm not kidding, to read the Urantia book cover to cover. It's the most fascinating religious book I've ever experienced, and I've read quite a few. The writings are as dense as grandma's fruit cake.

In my personal opinion, the only tulpas that can be demons are:

A) tulpas that are made to be such

B) tulpas that are made from characters that are (possibly even were) demons in their story

C) tulpas that are made from intrusive thoughts

or D) tulpas that turn against their hosts.

I'm well aware that options C and especially D can and will ruffle some feathers. It's hard to not bring it up, at least in my case.

But let me take this a step further with one of my own tulpas: Richard. If you know his origin, you know that he is likely to really make you think with his words. However, despite this (and the fact that I once saw him as evil), he has not once convinced me to do harm to myself or others. Would a demon do that? I believe so. But Richard has not once done that, and neither have the other four that I have.

tl;dr tulpas are not demons. Not in my eyes.
