glitchthe3rd September 11, 2019 Share September 11, 2019 I put in my application, but I probably won't get selected because I have a titanium brace behind my front teeth, so MRI machines are already a no go for me. HotsTulp September 14, 2019 Share September 14, 2019 I put in my application, but I probably won't get selected because I have a titanium brace behind my front teeth, so MRI machines are already a no go for me. Sigh. If it's affixed directly to the teeth, that brace shouldn't affect the MRI at all and should be safe. Titanium is pretty good in MRIs, and the real danger is the heating of the metal as the MRI "charges" it. * Indicates Sharky is typing Indicates Rarity is typing
Dav_Edward January 19, 2020 Share January 19, 2020 Wow, I'm glad to see research being done on this. I'd love to join in the study but Stanford is clean across to the opposite end of the USA from where I am in Canada, even if covered I'm uncertain of a journey that far. Solaria, my tulpa, has a very firm mindvoice strong enough to even speech jam me, but we (mostly me, the host) never felt comfortable enough to practice possession/switching but Solaria is excellent at hijacking my typing. I keep hoping something similar to this might be available in Canada.
