Tomorrow is Phil and my second wedding anniversary!!! 😁😁😁💚💙💚💙❤️❤️❤️

 

We wanted to share out anniversary playlist with you. One might think that it might be a private and intimate thing to share, but we both feel that music helps us communicate who we are to other people and connect with them. Plus, these songs all range from somewhat well-remembered to being very famous, so we're not digging up any highly personalized, individualized things here. We put together this playlist to be a bit more low-key and sentimental than either our wedding or first anniversary playlist, and I have to say it's a total vibe. 🥰 If anyone wanted to understand Phil and I better as people, or feel a sense of the connection we have with one another, or even just want to hear some really nice music, I highly recommend this playlist.

We had a very lovely anniversary date night. Because Phil had to work on our actual anniversary, we had our date night the night before (and a little celebration after he got done work that night too). We went to the town where Phil and I got married and exchanged a few words about what we mean to each other. 🥰 We then put on our anniversary playlist and drove to a place that is very special to us, a tiny little town with a cute pond in the center that is very historically important to us. (The two towns are actually about an hour apart in more or less opposite directions to where we live) By the time we got to that second town it was nearly midnight but the full moon was out and we took a moonlight stroll. 🥰💚🌕😁

 

It was ultimately a very simple and beautiful anniversary. No extravagant plans, no exchanging of gifts (unless you count our playlist CD as a gift to each other), just visiting places that are meaningful to us and sharing the love that we feel. 🥰 A lot is happening in our lives right now, a lot of it not good, and our bond has been more important than ever to help us get through it. 🤗💪💚💙 No matter what we always have each other and that is never ever going to change.

Something very remarkable happened over Christmas that I wanted to share with you! 😁

 

Now, I've probably said that Phil and I named our son James just based on general vibes of the name feeling right. However, over Christmas, this happened: I was sitting at the dinner table while Phil's mother and grandparents were talking about Phil's grandmother's origins. (Of course, as I always say, they didn't know I was there 🤭) And I learned something that I never knew before--his grandmother's father was also named James!!!! 😁 We gave our son a family legacy name without even knowing it!

I have an announcement to make: I made a second DeviantArt page! 😁

 

This one is for photographs of our IRL journeys! 😁 Of course, we aren't in the pictures themselves, but we are behind the camera. We are starting with recent pictures and are slowly moving back in time through all our saved pictures to find the more interesting ones to post. So far we're back to about this past August and there's pictures on this phone going back to 2021 so there's a lot still to go. 😁 Lots and lots of pictures of trees and lakes and such but some pictures of towns too, and hopefully more of that as we keep going back.

Nice photos! I grew up in a similar area. As much as city people like to trash NJ/PA there is such a pretty variety of nature and charming odd little towns 😊 - E
