We were backing up the text document that Phil and I traditionally use to write back and forth to each other when we visit libraries. It has been going since July 2022 and has reached 133,644 words!!! (340 pages in LibreOffice!)

We are currently in eastern Tennessee!ย ๐Ÿ˜ย It's a very different vibe than central Jersey for sure, but I really like it! I'm not planning on being on here much over the coming days but I do have a few minutes of downtime so I though I'd say hi!ย ๐Ÿ‘‹

ย

Virginia was a really lovely state as well, lots of really cute small towns to stop in and huge stretches of country.ย โ›ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ„

ย

Phil's cousin has promised to take us around to a lot of places around here. He's the cousin who Phil mentioned me to last year, but I'm not sure he remembers about me. (To make a long story short, Phil and cousin were talking and cousin was like "Who's that redhead girl you have so many pictures of?" So Phil had no choice but to explain who I was.ย ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†)

ย

Needless to say James and I will be with Phil and his cousin on all our adventures, and I can't wait to post all the pictures Phil and I take when I return home!ย ๐Ÿ˜ย (They'll be on our Photographic Adventures DA page but we may link a couple favorites here)

It will be fun to see the pictures. I'm glad you're having fun. I've always wanted to travel someday. Imagine how bizarre is would be to go to different countries, especially ones with completely different cultures? I feel like it might be like seeing the world for the first time such as when you were a child. Or terrifying, idk lol

ย

Our states are basically mini countries though, they are even the size of many other countries

ย

And yeah I'm not sure how one tells others about their tulpa, lol. I've told 3 friends, but they seem neutral about it and neither of us have brought it up again

ย

Imagine being a digital nomad? Someone who makes a living online so can travel constantly and has no permanent home. I thought about it, but I have too much stuff

ย

Are all the states you've gone to hilly? I don't know if they are more or less hilly. Seeing a flat area in real life would be kind of surreal. I don't think I've seen flat ground last for more than 100ft, so be prepared for that unless you already have that. Hills are really cool for bike riding if you ever had a chance to do that too, though yeah sorry if I am dumb lol, I associated hill mostly with WV

ย

May you continue having fun. You still got a lot of days to go

Oh yes, I only been to hilly states on this trip.ย โ›ฐ๏ธย We've either been in Appalachia or the Piedmont this entire time. Back home, New Jersey has sections that are hilly or even somewhat mountainous, but a large portion of the state is flat or nearly flat as well. The Trenton area where I am from is mildly hilly but there are some small "mountains" just to the north, such as Baldplate Mountain and Sourland Mountain.

ย

Traveling to other countries would be really interesting for sure! But you're right, our states are like mini countries in themselves. One of the most interesting things for me in Tennessee is to see what is the same and what is different from back home. The accents here are pretty pronounced and I wonder if we're going to end up tracking some of that back with us.ย ๐Ÿ˜†

ย

And yeah, being a digital nomad is a dream for many. I think Phil would enjoy that more than me; I'm a girl who likes the security of my "nest" that I can make my own space, but Phil really enjoys exploring new things, and I think it's rubbed off on me a bit. In the real world we don't really have all that many material possessions, especially not many we couldn't live without, so it wouldn't be that difficult for us, it would just be a matter of income source.

Traveling is super cool. Jaina is more adventurous than me but whenever she drags me outside to go somewhere I end up enjoying it. There's a lot of pretty country out there. Went to Kentucky red river gorge just before covid hit.ย

I did the grocery shopping for us while switched in. I should do it more often; I'm able to veto Phil's desire to buy a bunch of stupid crap we don't need.ย ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Interesting. It's exactly the opposite in our system. My host consciousness is always "should we should we not" and I'm usually, "go for it, we only live once."

It is pretty funny how that works; in our system I've always been the grounded one and he's more of a free spirit.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย One of his many nicknames for me is his "little voice of reason" because I will almost always interject when he's on the verge of making a less-than-wise decision. However, I only really press the matter when it's super important and usually let the minor things go.

ย

In other news, I actually had a full conversation with Phil's mother while switched in! It's actually the first time I've ever done something like that. Usually Phil's voice sounds different when I'm the one using it, but I'm able to do a "Phil impression" pretty easily.ย ๐Ÿ˜„
