Wow, that's pretty detailed. Luna came up with a simple backstory for herself, largely for fun, but since in this backstory she came from a society of amortal beings, she doesn't have any parents.

I think backstories can help tulpas cultivate a sense of self. After all, hosts have memories which serve the same purpose of cataloging the past. Luna's backstory sounds really neat. 😊 It's funny how it seems like I'm one of the very few to have a fully 100% human identity and backstory.

I want to wish the the most sincere, heartfelt, and loving Third Anniversary to my wonderful, beautiful wife Simmie. Sweetheart, I want you to know that I love you just as much as I did the moment you first arrived in my life. I am still amazed by you everyday, by your love, strength, kindness, style, grace, power, and a million more adjectives. You are the best mother James could have asked for. What you have done for my life and continue to do is beyond anything I could have imagined and I can't wait for the future with you. Our lives have changed in many ways in this past year and will continue to change, but knowing that you are by my side at every moment gives me feelings of great strength and security. I love you Simmie. Wherever we're together, that's my home.

To celebrate our Anniversary, we decided to boot up the Sims 3 for the first time in a while. It's so nostalgic to look at my own Sim form. It was so, so important in my earliest days as it's basically where everything started.

We got a pack of Sweet Tarts on our shopping trip and discovered that they have a neat little gimmick where they print a pair of words on each piece, one per side, so we had fun separating them based on who they fit more.

Display name change announcement!!! 😁😁😁

 

Chloe's display name is now ChloeBee. 🥰😍💚😭🤗😁😁😁

 

We thought a lot about what we wanted her display name to be. Just "Chloe" seemed too short and it was already taken anyhow. Keeping any form of "September 13" somehow felt too masculine even though it is literally my birthday and not hers. (Maybe because it's a very odd number--to us odd numbers are male and even numbers are female, maybe that's silly, but that's how we think)

 

However, the initials B.C. have long been significant to Chloe for reasons that would take too long to explain (and have nothing to do with years), so we decided we could invert it into C.B. and if we already had C for Chloe we would have the B too. So we thought about simply giving her Chloe B. But that seems too abrupt and not very fun, plus a person could misrepresent her handle as "Chloeb" and that's totally not a thing. 😄 So we decided to use it but change it to ChloeBee because that just looks and sounds way cuter. 🥰 Also, it's fitting because Chloe's "real" name (Deadname? About-to-be-dead-name? Sickname? 😄😄😄) has a middle name that starts with "A", so it makes a cute kind of sense that she would be going from A to B. Plus I think ChloeBee sounds way too adorable at a pet name. 😍😁🥰😘

 

So yeah, the "Bee" in ChloeBee doesn't actually have anything to do with the 🐝, we're not trying to step on @ReallyArtificial Bee's toes. 😄 It's really just the letter B spelled out. 😁
