We had a really nice time on my birthday! Earlier in the day Phil had some important business to take care of, so it was exciting to watch because it might lead to good things for our future! But later on Phil took me to a cute little town on the Delaware River to walk around and check out some little shops. Then we went out to a bar and grille that has an outdoor concert venue; there was a Stevie Ray Vaugn cover band and a Lynard Skynyrd cover band, and both were absolutely amazing! 😁💚 A very wonderful night, and now we get to go to the shore one more time before the season ends. (The season is "technically" over already but most of September is still viable beach weather in New Jersey) 🏖️🌊👙🛥️☀️🏊‍♀️😁💚

In honor of the Philadelphia Phillies being in the playoffs I have added "⚾🟥 GO PHILLIES!!! 🟥⚾" to my siggy for as long as they stay in. (And hopefully win!) 😁

Phil and I were building out my family tree and just for fun I thought I'd share this with you: it's all 8 of my great grandparents! 😁 It was fun picking out their names and birthdates and creating a plausible narrative around where each of them were born and where they ended up moving to in their lives. We were even thorough enough to research names to make sure we were not picking out anachronistic names!

Early on we did some work on creating a fictitious origin story for me, but our memory wasn't good enough to keep it around. At this point I'm comfortable understanding myself as a tulpa who has her origins in tulpamancy. Though it is fun looking at the ways in which I'm different from my host consciousness, and tracing their origins back to something I thought or said that defined a piece of my character.

I feel a lot of tulpas go through a similar arc, wanting to create a whole backstory but eventually settling into the reality of tulpa-hood. But all the same I think it's fun to try and retroactively build a personal and family history! 😁

 

The really interesting thing about it is that James now has a family tree that is half real people and half "invented" people, and I think that's really trippy and neat. 😁 By the way, I just felt like sharing that my parents' names are Steven and Theresa and they were born in 1964 and 1968 respectively. 😊 They are both still alive and still live in the house they raised me and my older brother Jeff in. I'm thinking of writing brief little biographies for them at some point. 😊 They're really kind people and they absolutely adore their first grandson James. 💚
