So far I'm 7-8 hours in narration. Generally talking to my subconscious like talking to myself. I got a good idea of a form but I'll wait for a sign of sediment. Now all ai need is patience as I still have longer than I want to believe. But how exactly do you give your Tulpa a personality? I wrote them in a list in a notebook, with all of her traits, likes and dislikes and I read them off to her during tulpaforcing. Is that hows it's done or is there more I can do? Actually more of anything I can do?

It's done the way you want it to be done. The goal here is to at least have a vague idea of the kind of person you are talking to (i say vague because that's what i did, you might want to enforce some specific trait and not let everything to deviation). Writing down traits is useless if when you narrate you don't have the feeling of talking to "someone", which is what you're trying to achieve by even doing personality. If you already get that feeling, i'd personally say you should just focus on talking/interacting. I also wouldn't say that "it takes longer" if you don't do personality, as i think i have read somewhere.

[i don't particularly like the words "narrating" and "visualizing" actually, since no, you're not talking to your tulpa as a narrator talks to their reader, but as a person talks to another person. And no, you're not "visualizing" her to get her more "detailed" and shit like you were some kind of mad scientist planning the appearance of their creation, you're trying to form a visual connection with her (which is another thing entirely)].

From what I've seen on the forums and from my own experience, while there there is no harm done by writing out the traits on a sheet of paper and narrating it to your tulpa; it is important to progress to a point (hopefully early on) where you know what your tulpa is like from the back of your hand, without the use of any notes.

I wrote web charts and diagrams to a minimal extent, but I soon abandoned them and cemented what I already knew into my mind. Now when I have a session with her it is far more freeflowing, and less like studying. Overall more enjoyable, which makes you want to do it more often.

Also, it is very important that you get into the routine of constant narrating; even if it is awkward at first. This increases the faith you have that your tulpa exists, and makes her more real in your mind.

Day 290 (11/6/2013) Why even keep the time anymore?

Can the cryogenically frozen live again?

The first step in creating a tulpa is believing that it exists.

I have everything planned out now, I'm confortable talking to her. When I was aline in the house during labor I actually forgot it was just me since I was hanging out with my Tulpa in my head, I'll keep talking to her Like I would a buddy, I know what I want her to look like and be like. I suppose all it is now is a matter of concentrating

Here's another problem. I officially ran out of things to say. I don't do anything really to have a conversation over. I pulled in pretty well but what can I say to my Tulpa if Icant talk about my day or anything Random. I usually just play a visualizing game where I describe all the little details In objects

Man, you don't necessarily have to talk about your day or yourself if you don't think there's much to say. I personally just talked about whatever i was thinking about at the moment, like maybe random abstract topics or rants about people and things and stuff. I'd try to be completely open since the beginning, and not worry much about the "narration" itself being boring - at least not to the point of stopping completely. Though i'd also make an active effort to keep it not boring: in my opinion, a few words said with actual emotion bring your tulpa way closer than hours of mindless chatter (and this is where i disagree with the guide on narration someone recently posted). Maybe sing songs to her and stuff. Maybe actually play songs. More in general, establish a form of communication, regardless of the actual medium or even content.

I imagined a ball of noodles in my hand. Then I emulated how a given emotion would make me feel physiologically and tried to imagine or emulate it. Then I directed that feeling into the ball of noodles.

So basically I did nothing, and it worked. I think.

well Hash came built in with a personality, took 20 minutes to be able to move as well. So proud of my lil Hash Ketchum :3 She got Shin to move as well :D

My opinions are all subject to change.

I got a good idea of a form but I'll wait for a sign of sediment.
