fennecfoxx September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 I know, it's a weird question, and it'd be about as redundant as running an emulator in an emulator. The thought of a tulpa having their own tulpa randomly came to mind yesterday, and now I'm curious as to whether or not it would be possible. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past
Lolimancer September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 If you see tulpae as another consciousness on par with the host, then i'd say why not.
Pleeb September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 Yes, quite possible, and it's been done before. To be honest, I believe that a tulpa is more of a real mind of the same nature of the creator's mind, so if a creator's mind can create a tulpa, so can a tulpa's mind, since it's well, a mind. glitchthe3rd September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 Yes, and if they impose it you will see/hear it as if it were one of your own tulpae. So in other words it's generally pretty redundant, yes. Oguigi September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 am willing to give 50% of my being to my tulpa. but having more than 1 tulpa may cause some problems in the deep future. have 4 fully develop tulpas that's on par with you? kiss your body goodbye. _________ but tbh tulpas no matter how many would never willing bring the host harm its actually more likely that you would be able to coexist with as many tuplas ur mind can handle pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.

The way I see it is that your tulpae take up a share of your total brainpower (or your being, if you prefer). So having three tulpae leaves you with 25%, four with 20% and so on. That being said, having one to three tulpae will (in theory) provide you with the most optimal result. Lolimancer September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 My humble theory is that you're just hosting consciousnesses that would normally have remained in the subconscious to begin with. So less about "dividing your self" and more about "bringing more of it to life/consciousness". I wouldn't know about an upper limit, if it exists i guess it would be completely subjective or something.
Chupi September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 My take on it is that a tulpa is another consciousness like your own, only differences being that you're older and you're attached to a body. The second one of those can be changed with switching. The three real parts in creating a tulpa are visualizing a form, getting sentience, and imposing. We already know that a tulpa can create new objects in the wonderland, so they could pull off this step. I'm pretty sure that my first tulpa, Lyra, was almost if not entirely responsible for my second, Eevee, becoming sentient. (She said he was sentient on day one, I didn't really believe it until he started moving later that day and started sending thoughts the next day.) As for imposition, that might require a body, not sure. I've heard of a tulpa (Atasco) switching and then successfully imposing the host consciousness the same way we would impose a tulpa. So I'd say a tulpa can impose at least when possessing. Oguigi September 7, 2012 September 7, 2012 Atasco is a Scary strong tulpa. Tulpa ask to switch with your body, But just as a mere act of courtesy. (Edited my Post of Evil Tulpa) pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
