Well... thanks for that talk. I have friends, but no sisters. I have two brothers, older than me and in highschool. I have the most fantasizing mind out of my friends, I don't have a phone, and yeah. I need someone to talk to, and I'll enjoy the company when I'm older. I'll go with Aria and maybe a pet.

A tulpa is a companion, a sentient being that you share your mind with and you may very well have for the rest of your life. You're young, so I understand that you may not fully grasp the concept of "forever." Think about it like you would a tattoo, you wouldn't want to get, say, a Pikachu tattooed on your neck because there is a good chance you'll grow out of it and won't want to have a Pikachu tattooed on your neck for the rest of your life. And if you can't understand that concept, then you probably don't fully grasp the concept of how you grow and change as a person over time, nor the concept of "forever."

The tulpa may be forever, but both the form and personality can change and grow with you.

That isn't really healthy.

Actually, those are both very common reasons that kids around that age create imaginary friends, which are generally considered normal and healthy. It's accepted as a way to enhance social skills. Some imaginary friends then gain sentience and become tulpae. Sounds to me like she's doing the same thing, only with that goal in mind, and not going at it totally blind the way most kids do when creating an imaginary friend.

Thanks chupi.

Regardless of what happens, or what you do, just know that we'll be here for you now and for as long as the forum stays active. All the things we're saying, no matter how harsh it may seem, is really to benefit you. And though we sometimes come off as jerks, some more or less than others, we're only looking out for you. Tulpas r srs business, we don't want this to be a regretful thing that looms over you like a dead mother goose for the rest of your life. Like Chupi said, this may very well be forever. Forever is a pretty long time, and we want yours to be a good one.

So yeah, you are loved and all that mushy stuff, and we will do our best to help etc. If you ever need anything, come to us, and if we can help, then we very likely will.

Also, I just wanna reiterate, try to have the foresight to see how you're going to see your tulpa's form years from now, and whether you'll still find it acceptable. Like the others said, you don't want your tulpa's form to be based on a fad or a trend, just for it to become unbearable for you. If it really does turn that way, then you and your tulpa should be able to work together to change the form, but you might as well get it right the first time and save yourself the trouble.

An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.

Okay. How can you tell when someone's lying about having a tulpa?

Okay. How can you tell when someone's lying about having a tulpa?

You can´t, people just guess of the fact that someone people either seem like they are A: immature or B: trolling.

When people have either or those auras and they start being proud of their quick accomplishments out loud, older members of the community will usually get frustration and expect it to be a hoax.

Quite understandable though to be honest, considering how much time they spend on their tulpae.

I mean, wouldn´t you get pissed if you spend 1 year on a sport and got to a professional level and someone just came along and claimed to be as good as you after a weeks practice?

People seem to be leaning more towards the fact that it might be because they were too focused on certain methods, as you can read here: http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-No-More-Advice?pid=28658#pid28658

Also, if this makes no sense then please ignore it, i´m currently drunk and should not be taken serious >_<

De bedste og smukkeste ting i verden kan hverken ses eller røres, de må opleves med hjertet.

A little tip: If somebody is posting walls of text each day about their tulpa splitting into two tulpa, getting mad at them, absorbing the other tulpa, making up, and other crazy shit, it's probably just to get attention and isn't the whole truth.

Or they just have a wild imagination. I went into this with a crummy imagination, and I've had some pretty wild thing happen if I get into a near-dream state and then enter an unexplored area with only a vague idea of what will be there. Dream logic applies; things seem consistent when I'm there, though when I later review it some things no longer make sense, or the most obvious solution to a problem didn't occur to me. What I get isn't as wild as some of what I've see here (like glitch's stories), but I'm pretty sure that's about where I'd be if I had daydreamed heavily for the past decade rather than almost not at all. I also have a tendency to teleport myself and Lyra out if things get too weird since then I worry something might happen to her (most of this was before starting on Eevee).

OTOH most fiction I've seen, even wacky stuff, doesn't have the same feel to it as the near-dream adventures I've had. So when I read progress logs that feel sorta dream-sequence-like to me, I tend to believe them.

As for telling when someone's lying, you can't really. Though there was a person back in the /mlp/ days who was known to be not lying. He said a couple things about the experience of having a tulpa that weren't obvious, before either of the guide makers (the only other people really accepted as having a tulpa at the time) had said anything about it.

Okay. I have a feeling that someone was lying to me. What happened if a tulpa suddenly disappears?
