Guest Anonymous September 8, 2012 September 8, 2012 Yeah, the warrior and the jokester. Hardly a problem. (Watch as fights break out and mountains are exploded) Also, lets try and forget about that rant I had. Please.
Kadoh September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 >warrior and the jokester I have the homicidal sadist and the cold blooded prankster. And I make them play nice. My opinions are all subject to change.
Guest Anonymous September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 >mfw this entire thread It's like watching the great trainwreck of 1918 on the deck of the Titanic while it sinks into an ocean inside of the Hindenburg combusting over the 1931 Chinese River floods. To add fuel to the already glorious fire, you really shouldn't be treating this like a game. I understand your enthusiasm, but creating a line-up of gimmicky tulpae to make isn't good. I'm against this whole phenomenon of creating multiple tulpae at once for what seems like bragging rights. A tulpa is a sentient being, and it deserves your full attention and resources. But when you spread yourself out creating multiple tulpae at once, you're not treating each tulpa with the attention they deserve. Likewise it makes me doubt the validity of claims when someone with no experience claims to have a fully vocal tulpa in less than a week. You know who you are.

I agree, though I kinda did this with Shin at the beginning. I myself to about my Tulpae a lot, only because I'm proud of them. But why would you want a slenderman tulpa? The idea isn't even unique, many people (including myself) considered one, and moved on. My opinions are all subject to change.
Pashoo September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 Never change, Lucid. But yeah, definitely, don't objectify your tulpa. In essence, they're people too, and unless you're a jerk- which we assume you're not- you wouldn't do that to your tulpa. Now, obviously, it's definitely going to be different, what with them being directly linked to your active and passive consciousnesses, but regardless, they'll not appreciate it if you don't recognize their validity as sentient beings. You know, unless they're into that. Or they love existentialist debates. I don't judge. An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.
Guest Anonymous September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 So, can I tell you about me? So, im eleven, im a girl, I have an active imagination. When I daydream I think of stuff like the wild. I love to draw, read and write. I can lucid dream, and I can be patient. So yeah. I can get very angry (like my rant) and so... yeah. But I believe in many things and I like to wish that things were real. Such as pokemon. And dragons. Etc, etc.. and that's me. Now you can judge me.
Kadoh September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 Cool. I'm 14, a boy, and a sadist with A.D.D. When I daydream I think about stuff like killing people and other funny shit. Now tell me, why a slenderman tulpa? My opinions are all subject to change.
Natasha September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 I´m 19, a flying chopstick and i like to take orange showers. That aside, it kind of seem´s like you are doing this for the wrong reasons. But I believe in many things and I like to wish that things were real. Such as pokemon. And dragons. Etc, etc.. and that's me. Now you can judge me. It is understandable that you would project your wish onto the only possible solution you have found so far, but a tulpae is far more than some "awesome creature you wish was real" If you try to create a tulpae with all the wrong reasons there´s a high possibility you won´t get anywhere and in the end loose faith and quit some weeks/months down the line. I suggest you take some of the advice people have given in this thread and go read up on the subject. Until then i guess i´ll be boarding the Hindenburg and watch this thread closely. Guest Anonymous September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 My parents fight. I need someone to help push me to do 105%. I need someone to talk to. Yeah. I posted a thread of my progress. Slenderman! It would be really cool to have the 'evil' slendy to hang around with. He will be a jokester, so he'll be able to cheer me up a lot.
Frosty September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 My parents fight. I need someone to help push me to do 105%. I need someone to talk to. Yeah. I posted a thread of my progress. I'm going to reiterate Natasha's opinion that there is a possibility you're not doing this for the right reasons. A tulpa is a companion, a sentient being that you share your mind with and you may very well have for the rest of your life. You're young, so I understand that you may not fully grasp the concept of "forever." Think about it like you would a tattoo, you wouldn't want to get, say, a Pikachu tattooed on your neck because there is a good chance you'll grow out of it and won't want to have a Pikachu tattooed on your neck for the rest of your life. And if you can't understand that concept, then you probably don't fully grasp the concept of how you grow and change as a person over time, nor the concept of "forever." Also, because your parents fight or you don't have any friends really isn't a good reason to make a tulpa either. That isn't really healthy. You may very well be better off talking to a counselor or making a friend. That's my two cents. Think hard about why you want to make a tulpa, and if you come to the conclusion that you want to make one anyway, then please take some time to think about the fact that you will probably have this tulpa as a companion for the rest of your life provided you spend the weeks/months possibly years making one, and plan accordingly. Also, making a tulpa is a highly personal process, so you should not be choosing their form, personality or really anything else about them based on other people's opinions. That is why I have chosen not to choose between the different tulpa you wanted us to vote on, because only you can decide that. I wouldn't really advise doing a Slenderman tulpa, or even a pony tulpa, as they are fads and you may very well lose interest in those kinds of things over time. But the final decision rests with you, so whatever floats your boat.
