I was just wondering when it is okay to make a form for your tulpa because ive seen everything from after personality to right away and i just wanted to clarify.

When you think it will be good. If you find a form helpful when talking to your tulpa, then doing it early would be a good idea. If you think it will only distract you, wait until you are ready.

It doesn't matter. I gave my tulpae forms right away, but, if you'd rather wait, then wait. It's really a matter of personal preference and when YOU feel it's right.

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past

As many others will tell you, the guides are not to be followed 100%. Do what feels right, but don't rush it.

Witty signatures are hard to think of.

If you know of a form you'll like your Tulpae to have then give it to her/him as Early as you can. if you wait too long your tulpa will choose a form and it may not be what you like (cause most beings don't like to be form-less for too long). early influences counts!

The first thing I did was start on the form so I would have an idea who I am talking to and generally interacting with.

Well, they can't move without a form, so I gave all my Tulpae forms from the very beginning. Also, that way, you can puppet a bit to work on personality.

My opinions are all subject to change.

Many people who have their tulpae make their own form start them with a small glowing energy ball or something of the sort to symbolize the tulpa's consciousness. Then this can either deviate into a proper form or the new form can be constructed, and insert the energy ball into it.

This gives you something to visualize, and solves the problem with not being able to move without a form.

As people are saying you don´t necessarily HAVE to give your tulpa a form right away.

Personally i´m horrible with those kinda things and i din´t want to start out with something that would discourage me so i din´t.

Until she got a form i just "put" Natasha in a spot wherever i was and focused my attention to that spot whenever i was forcing/narrating.

I can´t say it´s going to be the same for you, but Natasha has turned out fine so far.
