And I have no real results.

Not even a flash of something in the corner of my eye, or even the outline beginning to show. A couple of times I might have seen a sign of my tulpa, but I highly doubt it was an actual result to prove that imposition is working.

I'm starting to get worried.

Is there any way I can make it go faster? I've been wary to try Pronas' new idea because I'm afraid my tulpa will be stuck in doll-form forever. Not to mention it'd be slightly ridiculous to imagine a minimized version of him (not because the idea is ridiculous, just because it would clash with my tulpa's personality so much that I'm not sure I could take it seriously.)

That sounds odd because most people see at least some flashes or outlines right from the beginning.

And it sounds like you are waiting for something to appear on its own. Which isn't going to happen just like that from the beginning.

Can you describe what you did/how you worked on imposition the past 2 weeks?

Maybe that would be helpful for us to understand you situation properly. :)

At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.

I've been simply doing the imagining him in the corner of my eye, although sometimes I get distracted and stop. I picture him with me at school, walking with me in the hall, ect. Sometimes I close my eyes and try to get a clear feel of his presence next to me.

Does not sound like you're doing it wrong but i think its weird to not seeing anything after 2 weeks. Make sure to focus more on his details, make him appear in your field of sight more often and take your time getting rid of the "blurriness and flashiness" over the time.

Also you should be able to visualize him in your minds eye perfectly with mere effort.

Repeating confrontation may fasten up the process, but after 2 weeks you should not sightly expect to see him like a real person.

Imposition is something practice makes perfect over the course of a couple of months or even longer.

This depends a lot on how complex your Tulpa is looking.

if you dont have any mental problems or take meds and shit, then it will take a while, as in, months.

I've been doing the exact same thing for two weeks, maybe 3. I can picture her almost perfectly in my minds eye as if she was in this world, but she's still invisible. No outline or flashes.

And this doesn't bother me. I realize the process of imposition is a long one. That and I'm not actively working on imposition, picturing her with me irl just helps me narrate and whatnot.

My Progress Log

"A belief is not merely an idea the mind possesses; it is an idea that possesses the mind." ~ Robert Oxton Bolton

Nate's progress was pretty much no progress until two months in and suddenly he has a ton of progress.

Once that first real glance happens, progress occurs much quicker. It is just a matter of getting that one first glance. We haven't hit it yet either.

So much depends on what you've done before. As with Tulpacouple|Nate and a real-life friend of mine, some artists impose stuff on paper when they draw. Having daydreamed your way through school will likely make imposition easier as well.

I hardly ever hallucinated anything at all outside of hypnagogia and dreaming (apart from the usual mindvoice, filling in blind spots in vision, etc. that everyone does) past when I was maybe 7. I didn't daydream much growing up, and I've always rather sucked at art. Imposition is going really slowly for me.

So it's all about getting that *Lucky* one glace that sets off a explosion of Progress eh?

I've also been working on imposing for two weeks, Oguigi is still conveniently invisible

Thankyou brain, because i want to see the chair that Oguigi is sitting in more, then Oguigi herself.

No. If that were so, I'd be seeing Lyra a lot more often. It starts out as very occasional glances, then they get more frequent over time.

Do note that if you're actively trying to see her, you'll see her a lot less. Don't *try* to make her visible. Just try to imagine her in front of you, focus on each detail. All mind's eye, of course. You're just visualizing her and working out exactly where each part lies in space. Help solidify details and where they are in space by running your hands along the boundaries of her form. Try to imagine the textures as you do so. Focus entirely on those textures and the boundaries of her form. Don't even bother with what you are or aren't seeing.
