Guest May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 In the various guides, it's suggested that you visualize a "blue cloud" or some other sort of object that represents your tulpa's soul while tulpaforcing. Is it okay to not do this? While tulpaforcing, I don't really imagine anything visually, wonderland or soul, and just talk to my tulpa directly. Will that work?
tulpatalk May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 YES GOOD. VERY GOOD. Most people have trouble doing personality with zero visualization, but you seem to have this ability. THis is very good news for you! Your tulpa's personality phase will be undiluted by unintentional visualization. [Note: Opinions]
Pleeb May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 That will work fine, and it's exactly what I did during my personality phase. Spoiler An image in a signature behind a hidden tag!
Guest May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 I tend to focus on a little pressure in my head when I narrate or force. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
ThatOneGuy May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 Top center, a few centimeters in? Yeah, that's pretty common. Also great job not needing visualisations; it's good that you can go in without unnecessary stuff clouding up the personality. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
tulpatalk May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 It's only common because you think it is common. I'm going in thinking it's just a placebo, so hopefully I won't catch the headaches. [Note: Opinions]
ThatOneGuy May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 Well, common enough from these sort of things. When I first started doing things like this I would frequently get a small pressure a few centimeters in my head, and many others have reported the same sensation. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
ThatOneGuy May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 Eh. Sometimes different people get pressure in vastly different parts of their head. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Sock May 26, 2012 May 26, 2012 Actually, it's more in the right temporal area. Pretty interesting. Yeah, that's where I usually get it, too. Sometimes I get pressure in my entire skull when I have a session, but when I'm just sitting around, like right now, I get a dull, tingly sensation along with pressure in my right side. Sock Cottonwell's Sketchbook, Journal, and Ask thread. Peace
