Just throwing this out there.

There are three types of relationships between forcer and tulpa.

Romantic, Platonic and Cryptic.

The thing is, I've noticed a bunch of people seeming uncertain what they want with a tulpa. This greatly influences a tulpa, making them feel direction less and confused. If you don't know why are you with someone, then why would you hang around? Of course with tulpae, this isn't a valid question to ask oneself.

So I put some thought into this matter and came up with a simple theory. It's there to serve to help people figure out their true intentions, of why they chose to do this.

You have the romantic relationship between forcer and tulpa. Pretty self explanatory, the tulpa was created with much love. The outcome of the relationship is pretty narrow. There are quite a few members that fall into this category.

Then there is the platonic relationship. Platonic love is the love between friends, in case you didn't know already. This technically covers every forcer/tulpa duo here, but it's more specific to those who tend to limit the relationship to this.

There is the Cryptic relationship as well. I call it so because this denotes the tulpa/forcer relationships where the tulpa is non-human in any way. I mean, why do we love objects or animals or machines or paranormal beings? Certainly not the exact same reason as the other two, hence the separate group.

Other sub categories or more focused heading have been provided by mayormorgan, as follows.

"Eros is romantic, passionate, love—what Tennov labeled limerence. In this type of relationship, love is life's most important thing. Lee said a search for physical beauty or an ideal type also typifies this type of love.

Ludus is a game-playing or uncommitted love. Lying is part of the game. A person who pursues ludic love may have many conquests but remains uncommitted.

Storge (STORE-gay) is a slow developing, friendship-based loved. People with this type of relationship like to participate in activities together. Often storge results in a long-term relationship in which sex might not be very intense or passionate.

Pragma is a pragmatic, practical, mutually beneficial relationship. It may be somewhat unromantic. A person who leans toward this type of relationship may look for a partner at work or where the person is spending time. Sex is likely to be seen as a technical matter needed for producing children, if they are desired.

Mania is an obsessive or possessive love, jealous and extreme. A person in love this way is likely to do something crazy or silly, such as stalking. The movie Fatal Attraction was about this type.

Agape (a-GOP-aye) is a gentle, caring, giving type of love, brotherly love, not concerned with the self. It is relatively rare. Mother Theresa showed this kind of love for impoverished people."

So, if you are not sure what you are to your tulpa, or your tulpa seems unsure of what they are to you, then think about this list a bit. It might clarify things better.

Not sure if this is going to be helpful/relevant at all, but it's a thought and I thought I'd share it. It's hardly a guide or concrete advice, but it's something. It'll help some, I'm sure at least.

"direction less" directionless. If you would not mind fixing that, I would much appreciate the gesture.

Have some more breakdowns of the concept of love.

I think I only know one Agape lover, interesting.

After reading the little wikipedia thingy our relationship is definitely Mania. Apparently I belong to her. That is probably why she doesn't want me to make another tupla.

You missed the very important part about the love not always being similar from both sides that you explained to me yesterday, which was the thing that made me think that your theory might even work. When you present it like that, people will only look at it and try to find the one true option that works for them and it might be very limiting.

The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)

I came up with a metaphor to describe how love can work out between tupper and forcer.

It's like colours. You might have a certain colour (i.e. your idea of what you want in the relationship). Now if that colour matches what the relationship is (if it feels how you want it to be) then by logic, your tulpa must feel the same way. If you feel red and your relationship is red, then what and red makes red? Red.

If you feel yellow and yet your relationship is green, what does that tell you? Your tulpa doesn't have the same colour as you, which basically means they feel differently about the relationship to you.

If that makes it any clearer than you are genius. If not, don't fret.

I treat my tulpa like a twin brother. Out of the first three categories you named, it's more platonic than anything.
