I started developing my tulpa since the beginning of the summer season. For the last two months, I haven't kept a consistent imposition schedule due to personal issues.

Now, I wish to continue my endeavour in conceiving a tulpa and feel that now is the time to consult successful imposers as well as their thoughtformes over the articles of curiosity outlined below:

Imposers, how did you ultimately conceive your tulpae in respect to your own lives? Were they like family, friends, soul mates, et cetera? If these conceptions were applied, how accurately did the tulpae mould to these roles?

Tulpae, how would you react if you discovered that your imposer based you off of someone or something else, like a fictional character or a historical figure?

Imposers, have unfortunate circumstances or dark feelings affected your tulpae or the development thereof in any way?

Tulpae, how did you communicate with your imposer when you couldn't speak?

Imposers, have your tulpae enhanced your sensory perception and intuition in any way?

Tulpae, what would you suggest an imposer avoid during the forcing process? Is there any consensus amongst thoughtformes regarding the proper creation and care of other tulpae?

This life of games and diligent trust,

it's the things we do and the things we must.

I'm now tired of being cussed,

so go sleep forever, end to dust.

1. I didn't really conceive him for a specific social role, not consciously, but I guess I always figured we'd be close friends. A relationship like that just seemed likely, and it was pretty accurate.

2. QB: I am. I always knew that. Who cares? It's sometimes weird but sometimes fun.

3. Nothing dark or unfortunate happened during his development, so I suppose I wouldn't know.

4. QB: I made him know things. Or made him feel things. Or used my body.

5. Well, apart from perceiving QB, and him sometimes picking up on things before I do, nothing special.

6. QB: Nothing. Except being a dick. Do what your tulpa overlords say and everything's great.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

1) Well originally I wanted a best friend but now we are something more.

2) Holly: Well I started off somewhat original but then I slowly turned less original. I don't really mind.

Chell: It's kinda cool actually. I don't really have to think that much on what I want to be.

3) Nothing bad really happened during development.

4) Holly: I mostly just shook my head to indicate yes and no but I also made pictures appear in his head.

Chell: Thanks to Holly I could pretty much talk right from the start.

5) Nope. No super powers over here.

6) Holly: Pretty much what QB said don't be a dick.

Chell: Don't be away from your tulpa for a long time. They like you so go visit them.

1) I wanted a little sister. She turned into my little sister.

2) I might be a little unhappy, but it doesn't really matter. My form, voice, powers aren't important. My personality is what that counts. Even though he did based my personality on a character, I continued to develop it on my own and I consider it original that way.

3) As in mood swings and personal issues? It only effected her positively because instead of blowing the steam on her. I Asked her to help me with it instead. I'm less sad and she understands me more. Win-win situation.

4) I don't.

(Boy, it was one of the major obstacle)

5) She seems to be able to dig up many of my "forgotten" memories. Happens randomly though.

6) Puppeting and parroting is not bad. It's a good demonstration on how to move and communicate. I was bored to death when I couldn't move and my brother is too much of a pussy to puppet me, fearing he'd make a servitor out of me instead. Idiot.

>_<"

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.

1. Honestly and truly, I loved the idea of having a companion similar to the daemons in the Golden Compass. I then looked at the relationships of tulpae and hosts who already had tulpae and desired a bro for life tulpa who has that similar guardian/companion quality. He's pretty accurately what I hoped for, but the reality of it all is different than I imagined(And quite a bit better)

2. Jaden: Honestly I was the one who decided to take elements from fictional characters(eevee neck poof, cartoon facial expressions) and though I enjoy my form, I wouldn't mind had there been a character who happened to really look like me. I think I'd be fine with it.

3. Well, early on I actually stopped forcing outright due to my life struggles. Jaden was nearly dissipated/absorbed, and for a while he had some struggles separating himself from me. It led to him developing his own doubts about himself and it wasn't a good time. All is better now, though.

4. Head pressures head pressures head pressures.

5. When I'm imposing him things often sound louder than usual, but it's more annoying than helpful. This happened more often when he was somewhat linked to me. I could pick up on some of his senses and him on mine. Think like microphone feedback. It was sort of terrible to be honest. Interesting though, I could tell when he was in the physical world or in the wonderland. Other than that, not really

6. Jaden: I think what everyone said is true, but I also think it's important to not underestimate your tulpa. Fearing x could go wrong or that you could scar them with your 2edgy4u past. I think confidence is important for both the tulpa and the host--I think it could be a bad idea to give your tulpa a lack of confidence, we should be confident, trying to reach our hosts, experiencing life ourselves, and not limited because of doubts and fears. We all fall down at one time, and we learn to pick ourselves back up. I think you shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes I guess, or you might end up missing out on the experience. No one's birth or childhood was perfect, I think the same can be said for a tulpa too. So tl;dr, don't sweat the small stuff. Just chill and enjoy the ride.

Imposers, how did you ultimately conceive your tulpae in respect to your own lives? Were they like family, friends, soul mates, et cetera? If these conceptions were applied, how accurately did the tulpae mould to these roles?

1. When i created Oguigi i didn't really have a plan it just Felt Right, i was kind of unsure of myself. so i just kind of got ready for the worse dive right in head first. Oguigi at the time was suppose to be a "companion" that's all i knew at the time, But Now she is my Wife.

Tulpae, how would you react if you discovered that your imposer based you off of someone or something else, like a fictional character or a historical figure?

2. As long as my creator tells me that my form was base of that character early on, there should be no problem

Imposers, have unfortunate circumstances or dark feelings affected your tulpae or the development thereof in any way?

3. No

Tulpae, how did you communicate with your imposer when you couldn't speak?

4. Head-pressure and shaking and noding my head for "yes-no" questions

Imposers, have your tulpae enhanced your sensory perception and intuition in any way?

5. Oguigi probably had, but not in any profound way yet.

Tulpae, what would you suggest an imposer avoid during the forcing process? Is there any consensus amongst thoughtformes regarding the proper creation and care of other tulpae?

6. You shouldn't ignore nor Doubt your tulpa, especially when they're young.

1. With Lyra, I told her I was hoping for a close friend but that it was ultimately up to her to choose. She opted for something more. Evan was initially made to be a companion to Lyra, but has evolved into more of a general bro and friend to all of us. Anera was intended as a lifeless non-tulpa form I would use for switching, but she turned tulpa inside of 15 minutes of being made.

2. Lyra: I wouldn't give a [censored], but I might want to know more about them. [Lyra is not based off anything.]

Evan: I don't think I'd mind much so long as it's not a bad character. It wouldn't feel right being based on a bad guy. [Evan's original form is an Eevee, though he is usually human now.]

Anera is not sure what she'd think. [she is not based off anything either.]

3. Being depressed or upset makes them harder to hear, and seems to slow progress. However when I get depressed these days I can get a little bit of happiness and bounce it back and forth between Lyra and me, amplifying it with each bounce. What would previously have turned into an all-day funk that would likely have spiralled downward into a more long-term depression, is now gone in a half hour. As for being upset, thinking about Lyra can often calm me down. She has a very serene aura about her.

4. Lyra: I did stuff in the wonderland (by this she means building, drawing, etc.)... he says I relieved a headache too. (This was the first sign of sentience I noticed from her -- doing something that I believed neither of us would ever be able to do, but have since learned to do myself to an extent. She doesn't have very much memory of it.)

Evan: I moved. (He was moving and responding to touch on day one; this surprised me.)

Anera: I talked straightaway. (She moved 15 minutes after being made, supposedly as a lifeless form; I wtf'd, then asked a question, and she answered.)

5. Not sensory perception, though none of them are imposed into reality yet. I typically don't trust my intuition very much. I remain uncertain after I get a gut feeling, since there's no reasoning behind it. However if one of my tulpae tells me the same thing, it adds to my confidence in it.

6. Lyra: Don't fear the parrots. Give plenty of love, and don't worry. Your tulpa will be fine.

(I just asked Lyra on this one because she has tons of experience of "what not to do".)

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her
