I found this article online and found it very interesting It is looking at Tulpa’s and Mental Health: A Study of Non-Traumagenic Plural Experiences

This was another one I enjoyed reading a more detailed case study and how their Tulpa’s impacted their life.

Anyone know of any others? I’m interested in whether its is maybe easier to create Tulpa if you have ADHD/Autism or are a Maladaptive Daydreamer?

I'm sorry, that paper is bogus. Jacob J. Isler is Fordaplot, aka Jade/Aury. They are not only an abusive person given the "hypnosis abuse"* they did years ago and is a criminal**, they openly said they fabricated their data.

 

I'm not motivated to dig for more sources here, but I wanted to step in because I don't want misinformation to spread.

*There are claims they committed "hypnosis abuse" by sending people creepy private hypnosis files. While I'm skeptical it was the actual hypnosis that was the problem, the emotional/cyber abuse was very real and victims were genuinely traumatized. They got their YouTube account taken down too.

Oh!!!  …sorry I didn’t know…I assumed the person doing the study was a student of some kind..it was on an official site for papers!

That's how I found out Fordaplot was Jacob- Yakumo told me. Although I swear one of their weird creepy friends spammed that study and other crap on a Discord once.

There is more to the conversation that I cut out, but I don't think it adds value to this conversation. For as much as I would love to make fun of someone who supported you know, a criminal and abusive asshole, it's probably not a good idea to harass them. Aside from harassment being bad in general, this happened 5 years ago, and it's possible they were a dumb kid that needs a second chance (also assuming they weren't a victim themself). I censored some of the links because I don't want to accidentally distribute Fordaplot's malware or something since the chance of that is non zero. I also censored other names because I'm not going to go looking for people who aren't in the community anymore and ask for their permission.

And no it's not worth putting the discord server link because people who don't know about it can't access it anymore.

That’s a shame I didn’t know about all that.  I think I have some kind of dissociation disorder from being AUDHD and have some other issues that can also cause dissociation. but my insiders seem to prefer the term Tulpa to alter and prefer the Tulpa community better especially the younger ones when people are talking about fantasy worlds and characters. Several of ours are ‘changelings’ and have created their own Tulpa’s!  and love to stretch the limits of what they can transform into.  I think because chats are usually more light hearted than stuff in DID community which tends to be about trauma most of the time and admins often discouraging such stuff.
