Yes. Glitch and Pronas have done it too. It does result in a new tulpa, though some forcing is likely still needed. The imagination can do a lot of odd things; your wonderland operates on the rules you put in it.

 

For OP: Tulpa relationships work somewhat differently and don't need to fit exactly into any predefined mold. I love mine in most-if-not-all ways. But the closest match for each is:
