Endar, I was wondering, in Russia, what are people's attitudes towards the subject of tulpas? I remember, when I was in anthropology in community college, I did a research paper on Shamanism, and in my research, I found some things about Russian Shamanism in modern times. Since with some people I know who practice different forms of magick, creating tulpas or thoughtforms is part of what they do, I was wondering if you know if it is the same with Russian Shamans..And, I was wondering if Tulpa ru is mostly in Russian, and what other places people are discussing Tulpas online..

And, I don't have anything against MLP or bronies..But I do like things that are darker..I am more of a horror fan than a MLP fan.

"A fan, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person who is enthusiastically devoted to something"

No offense, but I'm pretty sure that anybody who spends the great deal of time and effort visualizing a cartoon pony for hours on end would have to be a fan of cartoon ponies. For example, I couldn't make a pony tulpa, because I dislike MLP and couldn't spend hours upon hours of my time thinking about playing in my head with my imaginary pony.

Though I suppose if you were a masochist......

Let's focus on the matter at hand, shall we?

Ehm, I don't know if I'd label myself a brony. I'm also an anime fan. I just enjoy animation. MLP isn't any different in my mind than anything else. I guess if brony just means "adult who watches MLP" then I would be labeled as one, so I went ahead and checked it. No pony tulpae though, just small fuzzy critters.

My tulpa started as a pony; but she deviated into a dragon a few weeks ago.

Lilie - 11 weeks old

We're working on imposition.

As far as I know, the posts from /x/ and /mlp/ are the most mainstream sources of information about tulpa phenomenon (or others sources derivative from them), so it's just natural that people that frequent those boards would want to get involved in the process of making a tulpa, most notably MLP and anime fans, been the kind of persons with less mental obstacles and the motivation to do so.

Edit: On a side note, if the tulpa phenomenon were more known in other communities, online or not, and most likely the wacky ones, those communities would probably spawn tulpamancers.

Nothing.
