dreygoth January 2, 2013 January 2, 2013 How many people here had their tulpa's disregard the personality you gave them? I asked mine if they adhear to the personality I gave them and she shakes her head no, like wtf mate. Then again I only spent like an hour doing personality haha. or possible that im not getting a true response cuz shes just started shaking/nodding her head.
Guest Anonymous January 2, 2013 January 2, 2013 Then again I only spent like an hour doing personality haha. There's your problem right there. And tulpas deviate, both form-wise and personality wise. Solace was meant to be really loving, but is now more of a moderator.
Kadoh January 3, 2013 January 3, 2013 Shin is quite different to how I intended him. But that happened over time. Hash started moving before I actually did any personality work, so I just didn't do any. Lucifer was intended to be a young, energetic prankster, and he completely deviated into a gentleman and a scholar. My opinions are all subject to change.
Antylamon January 3, 2013 January 3, 2013 Hi, now you are going to be an asshole! Why? Because I told you to!
Pinkamena January 3, 2013 January 3, 2013 The longer you work on it the more likely you are to get what you want. My last Tulpa was nearly everything I asked for, but I went over his personality list for days. I would have went longer, but every time I started saying "Okay lets go over the list again a feeling of strong boredom would wash over me and stay". Vinyl was one Tulpa I made that was greatly different then my intent, but they were accidental and I only spent a few minutes to a few hours at best on personality. I made Vinyl to be easy going, low drama, relaxed, all around nice to be around. They became a quiet wallflower tulpa that I could hardly ever get to talk and everything was a secret they never wanted to be shared. Every time they did want to talk, it was about something they knew would cause drama. They changed forms so often I asked them if they were going to be a changeling tulpa. Whenever they got a form once I was happy with it and openly accepted it, they picked something else the next day. Until they found a form I didn't like, until I would become okay with it.
Phi January 3, 2013 January 3, 2013 While the more you spend on personality the less it will probably deviate, the personality of a tulpa will never be exactly like how you set it up, even if you spend a hundred hours on it. Even if it appears to be exactly the same, I'll guarantee that something is either added or subtracted. That's because your conscious mind isn't the only thing tossing personality traits into the pool. Your unconscious mind and the tulpa are also adding things in. Your conscious mind is a suggester, your unconscious mind is a suggester, and your tulpa picks and chooses what they actually want to keep and use.
Sands January 3, 2013 January 3, 2013 And then there's time that molds tuppers. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Phi January 3, 2013 January 3, 2013 And then there's time that molds tuppers. This is true, too. Not only does the actual forcing process mold their personality, but so does their environment. People change, and tulpa are, for all extent an purposes, people.
