You forgot those that apply to you: [*] Stop making rules/beliefs that can negatively/passively affect your tulpa. "Going into Morodor or wearing that ring makes you evil" [*] Having too many misconceptions about how tulpae are supposed to work instead of just treating them as a clean slate
glitchthe3rd June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Well what do you expect? I was doing this on my own for the past decade, wasn't until I came here that I figured out how to do things properly. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report

G|d30n June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 You forgot those that apply to you: [*] Stop making rules/beliefs that can negatively/passively affect your tulpa. "Going into Morodor or wearing that ring makes you evil" [*] Having too many misconceptions about how tulpae are supposed to work instead of just treating them as a clean slate On that note, but posed in a less accusatory manner, I do actually have something I want to ask you about this--straight up, without being unnecessarily confrontational. Why do you believe Luna and S became "corrupted?" Do you think it's something that happened on its own or something you did? I know you've already mentioned you believe it was the hate that corrupted them, but why should your negative emotions be so dramatically corrupting on their own? I mean, hate is a negative thing, but just the mere presence of it doesn't generally make people go insane, alter who and what they are on a core level (as with going "rogue" or having a "corrupted appearance"), exhibit murder-suicide objectives in trying to attack their creator, or just generally turn them into some kind of insane shadowbeast or whatever. A person with a well rounded personality should be able to sometimes feel negative emotions and have negative opinions without becoming the Prince of Hell's Seventh Legion as a direct result. I guess my question is, do you think it was hate that corrupted them, or did you create a false binary for their existence in which they had to be either "pure" or "corrupt" and your (I'll say arbitrary, but that's my opinion) rules were the actual cause of what happened? EDIT: Darn, I just read that and it sounded more judgmental than I'd intended. I guess I should mention that the reason I'm asking isn't to try and make you feel bad or anything. It's because the distinction could actually be important for the community to know, and either way it does factor into "Things to Avoid." Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. I use it for tones and music, and then for taking notes when I'm finished. It's just a matter of not letting yourself get distracted by other things (i.e. porn). Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Flower June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Living with other people doesn't have to be a problem as long as they are giving you some space. I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.
Guest Anonymous June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 That feel when you're surronded by what are simply apes with normal skin and a slight grasp of the english language who don't bother to work on assignments but bitch about non-functioning keyboards. Whatever, I guess it is about focus. I want to move my computer that steals my focus at times but I NEED THAT ALBUM! or post on the forums about the most trivial shit. I think that I just need to recite the main personality traits throughout the day and make some normal coffee next time I force combined with mah pills. And my problem is that my family always need me for something or the other, and because of the traits rubbing off on me, I want to help. But I guess I need to say Fuck You subtlely next time I need some space.
