Kiahdaj April 24, 2013 Author April 24, 2013 Honestly, eyes were always easy for me. I'm with mordred on the nose thing. Hardest part of the entire form. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Kiahdaj April 24, 2013 Author April 24, 2013 I'd say that this thread is getting a little off-topic, but I'm not sure there's a lot more that needs to be said. Of course if anyone else has an opinion in the matter, feel free to post. He's currently reading the thread, so I'm sure he'll benefit from anything anyone's got to recommend. Kiahdaj April 24, 2013 Author April 24, 2013 try jerking off without porn. I've actually been meaning to ask him how that works. "If this can be avoided, it should. Dreamless Window April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 Well, it's not only possible, but it happens. I was completely blind, to the point where most of my dreams were completely black (as in, I heard things, and I knew the situation around me, but there were no images). But I could overcome it, so I think anyone can. First of all, to understand what visualization is, I recommend playing tetris 2 or 3 hours straight. As for training your minds eye so you're able to "see", I used a simple method that I call the lemon exercise. It consists of imagining a lemon. It's simple shape and colour make it prefect for beginners, and you can even "cut" it to work on smell and taste. The trick is trying to detail it as much as possible.
Kiahdaj April 24, 2013 Author April 24, 2013 The funny thing is that he loves Tetris. He used to play it all the time, and he was pretty good at it. "If this can be avoided, it should. Guest Anonymous April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 This is a bit off-topic, but isn't remembering faces more like a general feeling for you instead of a collection of details? I sometimes notice I look at someone and they seem completely different to me because I "changed" the feeling, even if the details are all the same. (this feeling is what I think will let me know when I'm done visualizing)
Kiahdaj April 24, 2013 Author April 24, 2013 Yes, noobdreamer, you are right about that. But you do still need the details to visualize it consistently, I'd think. But I do tend to visualize my tulpa's face through feelings, but that's because I'm not good at visualizing. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. oowarrior April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 I'm pretty sure if you can have dreams that you have a minds eye. Visualizing is a skill which requires practice. When I first stared out when I thought of someone's face an image popped into my head then quickly dissipated. Now I can hold them and hear them talk and watch them move. One time I was in a deep meditative state I visualized my tulpas face the image overrided my actual vison. I haven't been able to duplicated it. ~Tulpa~ Name ---------> Caleb Sex ----------> Male Form ---------> Human Stage --------> Personality
