Viski May 8, 2013 May 8, 2013 Is it possible to merge two tulpae to each other? Like if you accidentally created two.
Kiahdaj May 8, 2013 May 8, 2013 Yes, it is theoretically possible, though not many people have much experience with that kind of thing. How would it be achieved? Through symbolism, I would imagine. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Somekindofpony May 8, 2013 May 8, 2013 I supose its possible, although, my guess is that when tulpae "merge" in that manner, you're really creating one, and the other two sleep as that one exists. I don't see why you'd want to concider that regardless Jade "These are not the droids you are looking for" Me "These are not the droids we are looking for.."

Yeah, if you ask me, the two original tulpas would "die", while another is created. That's kinda how consciousness works. "If this can be avoided, it should. Sands May 8, 2013 May 8, 2013 This is where I'd ask Averian if I were you. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Viski May 8, 2013 Author May 8, 2013 Yeah, if you ask me, the two original tulpas would "die", while another is created. That's kinda how consciousness works. Well some Russian told me that he had merged with his tulpa and wasn't worse off. It could be like holistic learning, every neuron connects to multiple different sets that each represent a different whole, so they would just share their connections or something. I don't think that consciousness is an on/off thing, just that some parts could change or cease to exist upon merging.

I don't think that consciousness is an on/off thing, just that some parts could change or cease to exist upon merging. As they exist before merging, they are two separate consciousnesses. After they merge, those two individual consciousnesses would no longer exist. Therefore, the host as you knew him literally wouldn't even be alive anymore. A new consciousness (with all the host's, and tulpa's memories) would have been born. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. Even your own consciousness changes constantly to an extent that technically you are not the same person that you were a second ago. What would matter when you merge with your tulpa is that you don't actually die and instead you continue experiencing your subjective perception-continuum of life without the consciousness ceasing to exist. That is, you will be feeling your tulpa's memories in addition to your own, and possibly having some personality change due to your tulpa's consciousnesses' influence but not ceasing to experience the conscious experience as in death.
Somekindofpony May 8, 2013 May 8, 2013 I dont think a conscious can be killed unless you have some severe problems or believe you can. It can be undone, unlike the death of a body. Jade "These are not the droids you are looking for" Me "These are not the droids we are looking for.."
