Guest June 14, 2012 June 14, 2012 The question is self-explanatory. I meant to make this a poll... whoops.
ThatOneGuy June 14, 2012 June 14, 2012 Many hours. I didn't keep an exact count, however, since I wasn't keeping track of time. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Koji October 18, 2012 October 18, 2012 Somewhere around the 30 hour mark, If I had to ballpark it. She still doesn't say much, but we're getting there. http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Koji-and-Catelyn-Of-Deserts-and-Snowmen
Guest Fillyfooler October 18, 2012 October 18, 2012 About 30ish hours. Her first word were around 25 hours. Now we can have whole conversations.
SSaint October 20, 2012 October 20, 2012 I started Alexandra before this thread was made and she still isn't very vocal. “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
mouse_ October 20, 2012 October 20, 2012 I started in May, no words as of late. My advice: don't parrot, I've stopped having voices ever since I tried to help
tania April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 My first I accidently made (i was thinking about creating a servitor) talked in her own voice the first day completely shocking me.. as I was still deeply "thinking" while sitting at my computer, about creating a servitor but definately was going to do it and thinking what I'd like it to be like (I hadnt even finished thinking about it when she spoke completely startling me and making me almost jump out of my skin in fright, it really was the last thing I expected to hear her suddenly speak). I didnt know that writing down something like I wanted it to have, consciousness creates something else (not a servitor). My second Tupla spoke (but this time in like my mind voice but it wasnt me)... on Day 2. I'd asked something outloud.. not really meaning for him to answer it but he did. (Day 1 was the first day I thought of him and decided I wanted to make a Tulpa). All up before he spoke (Im getting these times out of my personal journal entries). I spent 2 hrs thinking up what personality he was to have, 25 mins focused on imprinting his personality and 75 mins deciding what I wanted him to look like.. so all up 3hrs and 40mins before he spoke (not in his own voice but in like similar to my own voice but it wasnt me). (He also give me an emotional response and smiled when he spoke) I heard him use a male voice thou on day 4 Jesse (human male) DOB 16th April 2013 Working on imposition
NariusV April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 It took about 19 hours. However, I had already learned and used a technique of being able to ask questions of my own mind and get answers regularly, so there were already neural pathways for vocalizing from the subconscious for the tulpa to use. What I'm finding is taking longer is for the tulpa to stabilize into it's own recognizable voice. NariusV's Progess Report
Ilueri April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 Pretty much immediately. Then she got all silent again. Now, about a week into it, she speaks pretty well. I don't have any idea how many hours, because I do like 80% passive forcing.
