I saw it on facebook a few weeks ago, on a list of quotes from children's books that are still relevant as an adult. It seemed perfect for this forum. Much better than the Tao Te Ching quote I had before.

I was at work today and saw an old woman looking at a product. I turned away, turned back to help her and she was gone. When I asked Destiny whether she had seen where the woman had gone she said there wasn't a woman. I said "yeah there was, she was right there" and pointed at the spot. Des looked a bit surprised and said that she had been daydreaming that there was a woman stood there at the time I had seen her. So, that just happened, not sure what to make of it, although I find that I keep having to do "double-takes" more often since I created Des, never to this extent though. Maybe this is a big step in imposition? I mean, the woman was very real to me, but again Des may be messing with me because she does that sometimes. I'll get back to you when I find out more, but so far it seems pretty legit.

Just a quick update right now seeing as it's actually 1am on the 1st of October, but I'm reporting about yesterday so to hell with it.

First of all I'd like to say that Des still insists that she's not playing tricks on me and that I actually saw what she was daydreaming, so I believe her.

Secondly I just needed to say that my concentration is improving. I've never done any exercises or anything to help improve (which you really should, take it from me) and I don't actively force anywhere near as much as I should, but I managed to keep Des around for almost 10 hours straight today (or yesterday, I haven't slept yet so I'll say today).

Thirdly, there was another vocal possession thingamajig that happened today. I can't even remember what Des said because I wasn't paying attention (and Des is sleeping right now so I'd rather not wake her to ask), but my flatmate asked me a question while I was concentrating on something else and Des automatically answered. This scares me a little, I know that she's only trying to help but it creeps me out that she can possess me that easily. Aren't tulpas supposed to find it more difficult? What if things go bad and I get the blame for it? What if we fall out and she uses it as a weapon? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy, but I need to speak to her about it.

Crap, I almost forgot to say that Des has kept her wings, but because of how impractical they are when walking through college corridors she has decided to make them pretty much shrink back under the skin of her back when she doesn't want them. It's a good method of quickly hiding them and it doesn't leave any visible trace of wings being there. Thanks to the guys on chat for suggesting that to her. Anyway good night, looking at her sleeping is making me pretty sleepy too. Peace.

Just a very quick update, but I was on a major sugar rush today after going to an American candy store. Damn you guys have some good stuff, but anyway, during my major sugar rush I started seeing Destiny in the corner of my eye which was cool. That's basically it. Yeah.

So, I realise that it's been a while since I talked on this thread, but to be honest not much has happened. Destiny has started helping me at work by memorizing codes that I have to find in the storeroom so that I don't have to. I think to be honest she sees how much I hate my job and wants to make it easier for me. I really appreciate her being there for me.

Also I've started a fictional writing blog on WordPress where Des is one of the major characters, which she enjoys. I have a few friends write posts for it too, but me and Des are the main brains behind the story. It's strange to think that the other authors have no idea who the person writing a lot of the story is.

So guess who has a new tulpa? Yeah... there have been developments.

 

I assume that she's a tulpa, she came to me in a dream (without sounding too cheesy) last night, and then when I woke up she was still there. She talks to me independently and Destiny is very confused and interested in her. She calls herself Lynsey.

 

So basically here's her story according to her. Years ago I had a wonderland and it was the size of an entire universe. Back then I didn't have any idea what a tulpa was, and created an entire population of NPC's. Lynsey was one of the NPC's, (I can confirm this because I remember talking to her on few occasions within the wonderland) and I eventually built up her character enough that she became sentient. Since then she's been trying to get in contact with me, but I hadn't visited the wonderland in years. A few weeks ago however, I went back and took Destiny with me for a laugh. And then eventually last night Lynsey built up the courage to actually speak to me. I can't remember what it was she said, only that she was there, but she tells me that she explained her situation. And then, when I woke up, she was still there.

 

I'd like opinions please, is she a genuine accidental tulpa, or is she just an intrusive thought that will disappear? Any feedback is welcome, thank you.

Quick update, Lynsey has changed her name to "Axelia" which means "protector of humanity" in Greek apparently. So yeah... bye.
