Nobillis September 29, 2013 September 29, 2013 I have moved the thread to Parapsychology so that this discussion can continue without fear nor favor. If anyone strongly objects I will consider moving it back if there is a good reason (or if I have derped, which does happen, I'm a trainee after all). I will also PM the OP. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
Enoch327 October 2, 2013 October 2, 2013 How about I muddy the water somewhat. You can do it, but you can't prove you did it. That about sums up the metaphysical. I am open to you sharing your experiences, the ones that aren't will eventually return to their portion of this board. Like I told Orville and like I told Wilbur, you'll never get that damned thing off the ground. Now we have a space station. Enoch, Chancellor of Mars. "Follow your bliss."-Joseph Campbell
Becca October 16, 2013 October 16, 2013 My husband's Tulpa sometimes comes into me when I invite her and am ready. There are certain things that she can do inside of him that she can't do inside of me because he's her primary host and because I don't practice enough to develop certain skills (like channeling her verbal expression/her talking through me) But I'm bisexual and so is she and sometimes we have sex, but that's more using her possessing my right hand or my genitals. My husband has a relationship with another spirit that this board would qualify as a tulpa and they make love in dreamspace.
Mint Mocha October 22, 2013 October 22, 2013 As the newest newbie I might be overstepping my bounds, but as a rationalist and a firm believer in both the power of the mind and the power of science, I would like to call your attention to the two following studies. One in which the experiences of one lab rat were transmitted half way across the globe to another via the internet and a neural interface, and the other in which people's brains were scanned via MRI while watching videos, and the computer collected enough data to associate neural firing patterns with visual cues and attempted to recreate what they were seeing in other videos by presenting clips from YouTube. Both studies are in primitive stages, however they show promise in the fact that one day mind to mind interface just might be a probability. Links to the studies: http://www.nature.com/srep/2013/130228/srep01319/full/srep01319.html?WT.i_dcsvid=10141245-NTExMjE1NTg3MjgS1&WT.ec_id=MARKETING&WT.mc_id=EMI_SciReports_1303_B2B http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/152659-japanese-neuroscientists-decode-human-dreams There are a number of others.
knucklebump557 November 20, 2013 Author November 20, 2013 I know it's been a while since I last checked in, but I still feel the need to share a bit of news that occurred while I was gone: I was informed that this tulpa was merely "egging me on", she was never serious. From all the things I've seen and heard, I should have figured it out a long time ago. Not exactly a huge loss though, she's certainly an interesting character, and she can be a real pain in the ass at times. I might create a tulpa of her at some point, but that is yet to be determined. However, some events have occurred with another tulpa, and I genuinely believe (and so does the host) that she is serious. I won't say what, I'd rather leave it a bit private for the time being. This tulpa has become my focus now, and I intend to create my own based on this character, (again, I won't say who, unless someone expresses genuine interest). Anyway, that's what's happened since then. Until the next time, peace.
Signet November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 The reverse has happened to me. Well, not to me but to a close friend of mine. A tulpa that I had developed and entertained having around for some years started showing up in the dreams of said friend. Possibly because I had abandoned her (the tulpa), but who knows? Also, since telepathy has been mentioned in this thread, I might that this particular friend is one with whom I have had a sort of telepathic connection. Nobody else, just her. And... that's my $.02!

I honestly cannot discount your experience, given the inexplicable nature of my own. But other factors, such as your friend's familiarity with the tulpa's character and appearance, should be taken into account. Would you be willing to elucidate for the sake of the thread, and, more importantly, my curiosity?

But other factors, such as your friend's familiarity with the tulpa's character and appearance, should be taken into account. Would you be willing to elucidate for the sake of the thread, and, more importantly, my curiosity? Oh, freaking yay. In all honesty, I don't want to dig up that old story, but it's been bugging me enough that I even signed up for this forum... so... I guess I don't have any excuse not to. :/ [from the thread I started on Dreamviews] When I was six, I started developing a tulpa without even the slightest clue as to what I was doing. As far back as I can remember, I've had a wonderfully active and powerful imagination, and I just assumed that this person in my head was another imagination, though... basically, a tulpa is nothing more than a real being imagined into existence, right? I just came back to the same imagination every night, so apparently it became. Anyway. I developed and maintained this tulpa for about half a decade (from age six to ten or twelve). By the time I was in high school, I'm quite certain that I had ceased to entertain its presence, and I never bothered to visit the building that it lived in (in my head). Skip to my first year of college. "My telepathich friend", as I call her online, was telling me about her dreams while we were chatting over the phone. Now, her sharing her dreams is common, and my being able to see her dreams (telepathically) is common as well - even to the point that I will tell her to stop describing the dream and instead do so myself. In this instance, however, she started by saying "I've been seeing this woman in my dreams." This got my attention, as I could quickly see my tulpa in her dream. It was clearly my tulpa, and when I asked my friend to describe her, she did so in detail. She (the tulpa) had apparently been visiting my friend in her dreams every now and then for a week or so, though she stopped doing so soon after. That's the account in a nutshell, sans opinions and reactions on my end. Thoughts? Questions?

I guess I don't have any excuse not to. G'lord. I had no intention of holding a gun to your head. You weren't at all obligated to share. Thoughts? Questions? Plenty of thoughts, but I believe you sated my curiosity. I might as well admit that I'm completely open to parapsychological reports like telepathy and prescience, largely because of my own experiences. Your account, however unverifiable it may be, sounds legitimate to me. I've experienced very similar circumstances with tulpas and friends, I doubt you have any reason to fabricate a story about a psychic connection like that. Fascinating stuff. I wish this community was more open to the inexplicable. An experience is an experience. There's no harm in open conjecture.
