cartowheel October 13, 2013 October 13, 2013 Our wonderland (or headspace as I've been recently calling it, since my other 'alters' live in it as well), was originally based off of a house I made in The Sims 3 to help visualize it, and it kinda develops without me doing anything, like what my subconscious wants. It started out as the house with a pool in the backyard, and the pool turned into a beach with an ocean, on the side of the house opposite to the ocean there's recently appeared a lush forest, and in front of the house cliffs developed surrounding the ocean, and we've found multiple caves along these cliffs. The climate is sunny, usually a decent 70-80 degrees, since I personally can barely stand any colder. Like BlackMuffin, I've been letting it develop on it's own after the house was created. Shui October 13, 2013 October 13, 2013 Alters? You have multiple personality disorder? http://www.karitas.net/blackbirds/layman/whatis.html "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"
cartowheel October 13, 2013 October 13, 2013 Alters? You have multiple personality disorder? Not quite. I'm a median system, so I have two other 'alters' that share my head. ;w; Not including my tulpa, of course. Yori October 13, 2013 October 13, 2013 The link given doesn't explain clearly enough for me. It's not clear if they're just saying they won't call it a disorder because that's an icky word, or if they're trying to say "there are multiple souls in the person's body, the person isn't delusional" and just won't state it outright for some reason... what makes it even unclearer is that they seem to diss it even existing as a diagnosis in the United States. Then they start talking about a certain psychiatrist and calling the people they refer to "multiples", and I'm not sure when they switch back to talking about multiples in their definition, (I am assuming that the psychiatrist isn't actually talking about multiple souls in the same body.) And in general it's just really hard to tell if they're saying that multiples are just a person, one soul, one brain, with multiple personalities or if they think there are actually multiple souls in a body. (If it's the latter I don't see why they would talk about when medication could possibly worse. Wouldn't they rant about that oppressing the other personalities and it being wrong or something?) Yeah.. I am just, what the fuck. And then there's the meds thing.. they seem to think that meds affect personalities and not your body physiologically. You can't give antibiotics to just one person in "multiplicities" ffs. The body doesn't suddenly not have those effects when the other people surface. The same with wounds, etc, would happen with medication too. If a certain something causes a reaction of depression in that body's.. biology then all the people will be depressed. Their brain will be depressed, ffs. Unless of course they are saying that the personalities are actually other souls and souls that surface in bodies are somehow immune to feeling it. My lip hurts.
Nobillis October 13, 2013 October 13, 2013 Before the thread goes "off the deep end", can we please keep it on the topic of wonderlands. If you wish to discuss systems and multiples please create use another thread (or tell staff that you want it split out). There's actually a thread in metaphysics for that right now. Thank you kindly. My searching skills failed to locate it (still). Oh, it is in Off Topic. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.

Redline November 13, 2013 November 13, 2013 I, uh, I tried a few thoughts before I realized the place I'd like to be was pretty much there. For the most part, it's just Hurricos from Spryo/2, but with a major part of the machinery replaced by all sorts of Arabian architecture. There are sands below and radio towers in the distance, and storm clouds above with that distinctive sunset coming through. I like to forge at night, because it lets me bring back the sunset, but I'm going to attempt it once sunset hits my window, see if I can't figure something else out. In the center of it all is this big chaise longue that my tulpa just lounges in, and going from there is an archway that leads to the rest of wherever I need to go, usually signified by an open door. I suppose it's that way because I wanted something I could feel comfortable spending more than an hour in, and I hate white space with a passion, so I strove to fill it with as much garbage as possible and then sort it all out to begin building. This is where all the good stuff goes
KenzieK November 14, 2013 November 14, 2013 Well, it may seem cheesey, but when I was 15 I fell in love for the first time and couldn't really describe the feeling in words, so I made the most beautiful image I could think of at that moment and it became a sort of representation of how I was feeling in my relationships with various people. When I found tulpas and learned about wonderlands, I knew immediately that that same image would become my personal wonderland. My tulpa herself has been with me since I was 12 (originally a standered imaginary friend) and I'm 18 now. When I was 12 I loved Naruto, and still do, so my imaginary friend lived in the Naruto world. When I made her a tulpa she began to feel a sort of homesickness so I added parts of the Naruto world in it. Then another part is just a place for us to stay if we want to be indoors, which is a mansion we designed together Name-Yuki Sex-Female Form1-Arctic wolf, big blue eyes Form2-Long white hair, blue eyes, pale skin, white wolf ears/tail, light blue jacket Personality-Compassionate, calm, sarcastic, playful, protective, introverted Stage-Sentient, vocal, working on possession
Ashmo November 15, 2013 November 15, 2013 Kensiek, that's really creative. I don't think it's cheesy either. Creating an entire place based on a feeling? That's beautiful. Truly and deeply. Redline, I think I may be in love with the concept of your wonderland ^.^
