HydesLittleOne October 25, 2013 October 25, 2013 I know I shouldn't expect to see results in a day, but I just really need someone to help me out 1 on 1 with this Tulpa creating. Yes, I know what I want him to look him, but all I can picture him doing right now is just sitting on my bed staring at me. People talk about how the visualization should block out anything that is behind your Tulpa. Maybe I'm thinking of imposition, but right now, I'm just staring at empty space and all I can do is imagine Hyde sitting there on my bed. I read this big long guide, about having to let go of disbelief and make it as if they are a real presence here. I'm trying to have patience, but Hyde is a very dominating character, and I would think that someone with his personality would progress faster at this and make himself known. I hear his thoughts in my head when I'm forcing and he answers back to me, but other than that, I got nothing else that makes me think he is really coming into being or even putting the effort in. I tried an exercise to feel him, but like I said...my fingers touch nothing but empty space and I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I feel like I don't have an imagination anymore and that I grew out of it a long time ago. I have imaginary friends all the time, but they never manifest into being anything other than me talking to empty space in my room. I would very much appreciate someone who has experience here working with me one on one and message me back and forth to help me out as I go about making Hyde more "real" like the rest of your Tulpas. Can anyone help? Please? Nobillis October 25, 2013 October 25, 2013 You seriously need to learn patience if you wish to make a tulpa. That said, consider looking at the Mentors' thread. Do you need a reddit account to apply for this, Nobillis? Yes, you would. The new layout for the tulpa.info forum will also include a mentor section, but I don't yet have a time-frame on when that will be available. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
HydesLittleOne October 25, 2013 Author October 25, 2013 Maybe it's better just to continue thinking of him as an imaginary friend. I mean, that's something, right? left blank October 25, 2013 October 25, 2013 For what it's worth, my tulpas have never appeared as solid hallucinations. The only exceptions occurred in hypnagogic/hypnopompic states. Still, they can be very present and communicative in other ways. I believe the best course of action anyone can take when approaching--and indulging in--this phenomenon and all its activities, is to remember there will always be a lot of variation. There are no set rules, and there shouldn't be any concrete expectations for an experience that relies entirely on inner perception. And yes, patience is vital.
HydesLittleOne October 25, 2013 Author October 25, 2013 Earlier tonight, when I was doing active forcing, asking Hyde to touch me, I felt tingling sensations on my feet then moving up my legs to my arms. They were faint, but they were there. Tingling. And then a moment ago, while I was lying in bed and imagining him next to me, I felt him lean in and this warmth sort of air against my ear. As if he was breathing against it. It was kinda weird. Yori October 25, 2013 October 25, 2013 Wow, tehehe, I'm jealous. I wish I felt mine breathe against my ear. I started on mine just this month though. But yesss, patience. Maybe keep a progress report here in the Progress Reports section? My lip hurts.

left blank October 25, 2013 October 25, 2013 It's a sign of the times when people are impatient to lose their grip on reality.
