Interestingly, I know of a guy (who's a Psion) who did a scan on my tulpa's form, I was curious as to what he'd get, if anything; he described it as a psi construct with a moderate amount of energy that seemed to have the function of being controlled by a mind that wished to control it.

(though it depends if you differentiate between psi and ki, as I consider them both flavors of the same things)

Both can be thought of psychic energy, and I even once wrote an article about Ch'i (Chinese ki) and some theoretical proof I found for it.

As far as an 8th grader knows...

>everything is matter

>thoughts are matter

>something cannot be created with nothing

>Tulpae are thought forms

>therefore Tulpae are physical matter?

My opinions are all subject to change.

Not everything is matter; hence energy.

And even in the metaphysical sense, tulpae are energy, not matter.

Physical manifestation is theoretically possible, if we'll manage to implement the interface linking tulpa with some external controllable body. For example it would be some device implanted in the brain, reading signals from certain area where tulpa "is located", remotely sending them to the (bio?)robot "body", and getting response back from the "body".

I'm not sure that would be considered a 'physical manifestation' but if we did manage to convert thoughts into a data we can transfer and read, I wonder if a tulpa could even survive outside of their hosts brain?

Moving data from one carrier to another is always 2-stage operation: first you make a copy of data in the new place, then you delete old data.

So, deleting sentient tulpa would be considered as a murder... and it's not good.

Dayum, that means if you sacrifice our brain for some fancy man made one if that's even possible in the late future, we wouldn't really be us. Oh woe is me, my dreams of immortality have fell right before me~

Seriously though, that would depend on whether a tulpa is really a separate being, sentient mind or not and whether they want to take such a risk. Besides, who said you had to take the data, you could leave it intact and just take a copy, no?

yeah, but then what is the sense for original tulpa to be just copied? If it was me, I'd prefer not to take such risky experiment with my own twin mind... who knows how clone will feel within completely different environment? Maybe it would be extremely painful experience... But you're right, everyone is different, and some reckless tulpa may easily agree :)

Well, it would be interesting if it could be possible for one, don't need much more of a reason than that. But maybe instead of making a tulpa in your mind, you could somehow create it in some kind of robotic brain instead. THEN TAKE OVER THE WORLD WITH YOUR ARMY OF INTELLIGENT TULPABOTS! Muhahahahaha~

@glitchthe3rd; Did your friend mention the specific training?

My thoughts; For physical manifestation my references mention 2k+ hours of focus with that intention (physical manifestation). So far I have not had it happen, but I'm just a couple weeks in as of this writing. Some of us may eventually be able to report with more detail later.
