Butterologist February 10, 2014 February 10, 2014 I was always curious if this is possible because if I wanted to start imposition my tulpa and I would have to make sure we're both comfortable with the current form she's taken... For lyfe. This is more about visual imposition, but this also raises the question of if a tulpa can change their voice, how they feel, or how they taste after being imposed. Also, can a tulpa have two imposed forms that they can switch between? ~Thanks
Bacn February 10, 2014 February 10, 2014 It used to be thought that tulpas could not change form once imposed, but that idea has long since been proven wrong(as far as it can be proven, that is). It's also extremely illogical that a hallucination would be unable to change.
Gryphon Flight February 10, 2014 February 10, 2014 I don't see why not. Like Bacn stated, it would seem odd that a hallucination, a creation of the mind, would be unable to change its appearance or taste or anything similar. To have two different forms, from what I've heard, is indeed possible, and actually done by many Tulpamancers.
NeonKnights February 10, 2014 February 10, 2014 Haven't gotten imposition down myself, but it really wouldn't make sense that anything about your tulpa would ever be "locked-in" permanently, unless there's a feature about themselves that they don't want to change. A little bit of logic goes a long way here, imposing them doesn't synthesize an unchangeable physical body for them or anything silly like that. "You've got to believe to achieve." -Hank Hill
Nobillis February 11, 2014 February 11, 2014 Can a tulpa have two forms? Yeah. I usually look like my avatar. I also have a human form. I will likely be merging this thread with another, as this has been asked before (can't do so whilst traveling). Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
TulpaCouple February 11, 2014 February 11, 2014 Giselle is imposed and switches between two main forms. She also comes up with a variety of outfits, hair styles, etc.
