The black shoe diaries. (Amber and Toby)

Hm... hard to think how I will be in 46 years, but... wow is life short.

Anyhow, considering that I enjoy computers, eventually want to work with them, and I use them often, I will be blind by then (Or have 4 inch glasses).

I would imagine myself out in a long country next to a forest and a pond. I would wake up, get ready, and walk through the forest for a hour or so. Returning home mostly exhausted, I will take a 30 minute nap. Finishing my walk, I would decide if I would need to go to the store that day. If not, I would probably find something for me to do. I would go to church around 4:00 everyday, and be slightly religious (I am right now, but find the church flawed).

I would still listen to my hay-day music, which includes the 40's (I am told I am a 'old soul') and be yelling at kids to get off my lawn. Most likely.

I will then head up to sleep, starting the next day with the same walk. I think a solitary life befits me.

About Lyra-cakes... I would like to have her for a thousand more years. She cheers me up, and in some cases, is the only company I will need by then.

Well, that was me so close to death... enjoying life's pleasures and beauty.

To be honest I don't think that I'll survive until 60. When I was in the 5th grade, I expected that I'd die before I made it to highschool in a freak accident. so I never really planned out a future. In the 8th grade, I thought that I would die in a freak accident before graduating highschool, so I still didn't do anything to secure a good future. Now that I graduated, I'm kind of pissed that I didn't die in a freak accident because I HAVE DONE SO MANY DANGEROUS THINGS SINCE I WAS IN THE 5TH GRADE. I have no plans for the future! I was in a car with a bunch of hookah-smoking morons in the middle of the night while they were driving at 130 miles per hour, dipping and weaving between semi trucks and cars.

But I am still alive. Wtf.

So if I live to be 60, then I want Yumi to be completely imposed into reality. I also want her to have grey hair so that I don't feel alone. By 60, I want to know that I saved at least 100 lives. and so far I have only saved 2 lives, so I am on the right track lol.

(By the way, I accidentally read the first page of your PR and I am completely amazed by Toby and his personality!)

First off, I love your progress report very much! It's fun to read and it's especially inspiring to new people like me. :)

Alright, as for the 60 thing. When I'm 60, I imagine myself living in a small house with 2 floors in Grindlewald, Switzerland. I would still be single, but I would have my future tulpas to keep me company. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up (I'm still young after all), but it'll work out. I just want to be away from war, away from disease, living a slow quiet life.

What do you MEAN you don't agree with me?

Do you know who you're dealing with!?

"Don't go looking for happiness, because it's already found you."

I overheard a coworker telling another coworker this today. I asked him what he meant and he said:

"happiness is a choice, not a set of circumstances."

I really thought about that and I wanted to share that.

If happiness was anything but a choice then how is it that those who have nothing can be living a life of pure peace while those in luxury are full of turbulence and pain.

"don't go looking for happiness, because it has already found you."

Peace!

The kid who said that was like 16. He's a mini bhudda I love him

Lol. I didn't know such saying could come from a adolescence 2 years older than I. He seems wise for a teenager.

Hey amber what do you do for a living? I could just read through your PR to find out, but it is 1am, and my brain won't let me accomplish such a feat.
