ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 Hey, so I've been thinking about necromancy lately and want to really get into it, I can't find anything on REAL neromancy though? Is there anything on actual neromancy out there that actually has a lot of guides/useful information on it.

Kaz with a K November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 Honestly it didn't even register to me that the word I was reading wasn't "necromancy", and the fact that I was completely unconcerned gives me pause. Bin November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 Yeah I was actually wondering if he was trying to say Necromancy or Neromancy, I tried looking up the latter and it was just more misspellings of Necromancy. I was mainly questioning it because necromancy kinda doesn't exist, unless you prod a corpse with electrical signals, which is just kinda sick. And then again I'm not even sure if that's more necromancy or just putting a computerized parasite on a corpse. Scarlet - anime, 8/15/2012
sushi November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 I wonder if he means neuromancy. If you mean necromancy, this belongs in Meta. The word necromancy has been distorted over time. When old occultist books talk about necromancy, they're talking about summoning up the spirits of the dead for divination. The suffix -mancy means divination -- not magic. I think it was D&D that gave "necromancy" the meaning it has today. So yeah, do you mean neuromancy, which relates to training the mind to do weird stuff; necromancy in a classical sense, which means summoning up spirits; or necromancy in the D&D sense, like raising the dead? Timofey November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 Hope it's not the third one, if he succeeds, he'll be screwed. Actually, even second meaning not always finishes with good ending. And may the fears keep away from you.

ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 25, 2014 Author Share November 25, 2014 Neuromancy. Sorry, autocorrect. I don't intend to raise the deaf. Also, thanks guys. I know this isn't a well known subject at all and it's hard to find anything on REAL neuromancy I see the mistakes, nd I won't correct them. sushi November 25, 2014 Share November 25, 2014 Neuromancy. Sorry, autocorrect. I don't intend to raise the deaf. Best line ever. Sadly, I think tulpa.info is probably the best source on neuromancy out there. There is the neuromancy forum, but it's pretty dead. Though there is some good info there. And if you want to go over there and post a lot, maybe people will start to come out of hiding.
