So I have some IRL friends with tulpas who don't use this site, and I just now got a call from one of them asking if tulpas can get sick, because apparently one of her friends (who's more of an acquaintance to me) claims that she has a sick tulpa. More specifically, sick as in vomiting. We don't have any idea what could've caused it, and I told her that while none of my tulpas have ever gotten sick like that, I really wasn't sure wether or not it was normal for tulpas in general.

So, have any of you ever had your tulpas get sick in any way? Or heard about tulpas getting sick?

Pinky is not a pony. She's an imp.

Sunray is an angel-imp. Ex is humanoid. Kael is a dragon. Magnum is a dog.

A tulpa's mindform is not physical, so there is no reason that it has to be sick. That's like being unable to stop visualizing yourself vomiting.

If a tulpa doesn't want to be ill, it doesn't have to be. And if—for whatever reason—it does want to be sick, well, it can do that too.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Yes, tulpas can get sick. It's not a matter of germs in the physical world, but instead is purely mental. If the two of you get drunk and you make it to where he or she (or it) is drunk as well, to where they have all the usual symptoms of intoxication just as real as you do, then it may be beneficial for them if they puke. It might make them feel better. Of course, they can just as easily snap their fingers and say that they feel better as well, but that doesn't mean they want to.

I've heard that some people make pain exist in their mindscape, because they want their tulpa's lives to be as real as possible. It's also possible that bacteria and viruses can be placed there, too, whether by you or them.

James: Hello, all!

When mine feel sick it's something to do with mental energy, and directing some their way often helps them.

I remember Irish's Alice usually felt sick about a day before he got sick.

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her
