Toolbox March 11, 2015 March 11, 2015 I'm currently taking courses to become a welder, which will act as a basic job as well as give me something to contribute to my family's budding business, which is Halloween prop design/creation/manufacturing. The rest of my family's more into making the props pretty, whereas I'm happy to make them sturdy and make them work. Props with moving parts are the best ones. :) Beyond that... I'd like to attain self-sufficiency, ultimately, and not have to adhere to anyone's schedule or demands except Mother Nature's. I'd still create and sell things in order to get "fun money", but I'd like to escape full-blown bills and the like. And, finally, a very difficult-to-reach dream that HEAVILY involves Tulpas... I'd like to see "mind-reading technology" (where it senses brain waves and sends output accordingly) become advanced enough that one could "teach" a machine to respond in a certain way to thoughts. Basically, where you can calibrate a machine to certain thoughts by thinking it over and over, and telling the machine to activate this or that function when it receives that thought command. I have no delusions about ever being able to help that technology along, myself, as it's nowhere near my area of expertise. But, if it can ever come about through someone else's efforts, I imagine such technology could be employed for things like prosthetic limbs, cosmetic limb additions like tails, and... Tulpas. Creating an artificial robotic body for them that they can then learn to control. Such technology is likely way, way out of reach, but it's a joy to dream about having one day.
TheSanctuary March 11, 2015 March 11, 2015 Currently I teach- but studied AI and how the brain works at university among other things - was pretty cool to study actually. Wish I still had contact with some of my professors so I could ask me about some of this shizzle.
arcanemagic March 14, 2015 March 14, 2015 I think I'd like to do something with chemistry... It's the first class that I've taken that I've enjoyed purely because of the subject. But I don't know, I'll probably look around for other interests before making any life decisions, seeing as it's probably not good to get my heart set on any one thing :P Markus is the tulpa, and I don't really have anything else to say. Markus speaks in Blue!
Persepaska March 15, 2015 March 15, 2015 Im a master of science in technology, majoring electrical engineering. I also wanted to be a neurologist since I have always been interested how human brain works, and the unordinary phenomenoms it can produce, one example being, of course, tulpas. Other one is lucid dreams, which also is my hobby. I still think that one day I might apply into medical university.

CM March 23, 2015 March 23, 2015 I realized I hadn't actually answered this thread properly yet, possibly because I wasn't all that certain about my future profession... Right now I'm aiming to become an illustrator. I'm studying in vocational school art department and should graduate in 2 years. Elvode March 25, 2015 March 25, 2015 My dream career is to work with dogs, I wish to help dogs in trouble, everyday I see people who do not understand their dogs language so they mistreat them out of frustration. I'm trying to find an education to take but so far I haven't been lucky. **Proud to be a drug free thoughtform!**
sushi March 25, 2015 March 25, 2015 My dream career is to work with dogs, I wish to help dogs in trouble, everyday I see people who do not understand their dogs language so they mistreat them out of frustration. I'm trying to find an education to take but so far I haven't been lucky. A friend of mine is a dog groomer. She's told me that dog training is really more about training the owner than training the dog. Although she's not a trainer herself, she does get plenty of opportunity to give people tips, both about getting along better with their dogs, and also about other aspects of the dog's health. As a groomer, she's examining the dog's entire body, and she's often the first one to notice any injuries or illnesses that the dog has. If the dog's skin is dry, she can point it out to the owner, tell them why it's happening, and recommend a change in diet or shampoo or whatever. She also catches more serious matters of neglect sometime. She told me that once an owner brought in a dog and she shaved a patch of matted hair that was around a square foot in size and came off in a single piece. Underneath, the dog's skin was worn raw, and covered in maggots. "Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson
Yuki March 25, 2015 March 25, 2015 I am working to become a doctor, a job I will do together with my host. I applied for medical school, and during the process I'm doing a volunteer job at the surgical ward of a local hospital. It's a very interesting job already, I get to see a lot of treatment and have a lot of contact with patients, doctors and nurses. I guess it's almost like an internship. Before starting the job, I was really apprehensive about actually talking to people while possessing. I was dead nervous the first time I went to the hospital for an interview. Right now, I feel like I'm doing pretty well, I'm just a bit quiet sometimes. I would want to become an anesthetist, pediatric or maybe a surgeon. I'll have years and years left before I get to choose though, which is nice. Feel free to ask me anything. Suffering is self-imposed. Don't let it control you.
