Do any of you care either way? I see nothing wrong with that at all. I think as producer and editor you have a lot of say in how you edit the final product. As long as you do not fundamentally changing the content and meaning of what was said, I think you are fine ethically.

Overbooking is a good strategy to get at least one from a selected group of invites onto a microphone. LOL Worst case situation, you end up with a panel of guests instead of only one, which would be fantastic!

EDIT: Also, to make things go faster I'm playing everything at 1.5x speed without pitch correction, because I think pitch correction sounds horrible and it distracts me more than an un-corrected pitch does. What this means is that all the voices (and sounds) are 1.5x pitch, or about half an octave up. Every time I accidentally hit the wrong key and play at normal speed, everyone sounds drunk.
