Has your Tulpa ever been aggressive towards you?

The worst I've ever gotten from Zyr was a couple cases of "cartoon violence" when I was annoying him. I wouldn't call that aggression though, it was more just a silly way of making a point.

Nope. He's still awesome

 

Has a Tulpa ever regretted being created, or didn’t like their Host?

Not at all, though there were a couple times early on that I think he wondered why exactly I decided to create him.

 

What was your worst fight with your Tulpa?

Dragging me out of bed in the morning. xD

Hey there! I'm James, a tulpa. I understand that you're feeling uneasy about creating a tulpa, but I don't think you should worry. I honestly feel that when people talk about having violent tulpas they either a) are trolling, or b) have something else other than a tulpa. Just my opinion, but whatever.

 

I'm not a tulpamancer, and so it's not like I can answer your questions from my own host's point of view. I can say a few things, though, that may or may not help you.

I've never been mean to Brandi, and I hope to never be mean to her. There really isn't a point in doing so . . . not only do we share the same body, but we love each other a lot. I don't want to be "aggressive" to her.

What you have to understand is that a well-rounded human being has negative traits. No one is totally good. I can understand why a tulpamancer might be weary of giving their tulpa bad traits (Brandi sure was), but negative traits don't necessarily have to be mean.

Well, I certainly don't regret being created. When the time comes for me to die . . . I think I'll be okay . . . but no, I don't regret being created. I've never heard of a tulpa who didn't like their host, either (and again, I really doubt these claims that are coming up where tulpa are evil and fuck with their tulpamancers).

 

What was your worst fight with your Tulpa?

 

We haven't had a fight. There have been a few times where we've had disagreements--I was hurt when I found out that she was afraid of me being a rapist in the beginning, for example--but we've never actually fought. More than likely there will be times when you and your tulpa don't agree with something, or when one of you is hurt by the other's actions . . . just talk it out. That's the best thing to do.

Once upon a time, there was an asshole named Cyth. Short answer: yes.

Has your Tulpa ever tried to hurt your feelings on purpose?

Opal sometimes will be rough with me, but she will do it because I'm failing to understand or I'm ignoring her or someone else. So basically, yes, but I needed it.

Cyth was mostly a result of mistakes and misunderstanding. It wasn't spontaneous, although it felt like it at the time.

I don't think I've ever had a tulpa that didn't like me. Opal likes me; she's just rough to me because that's how she is with everyone.

I don't even know if Cyth didn't like me; he just liked causing pain. Maybe that was his show of affection. Likely, though, he was just indifferent to me in the way that a cat is indifferent to the feelings of the mouse.

What was your worst fight with your Tulpa?

Cyth wanted to cause everyone pain because he was sadistic. I don't think there's a "worst fight" because it was all pretty bad at the time.

 

I'd just like to emphasize that my experience is my own and in no way is it representative of the community. I made mistakes, and now it's better. The best thing I can say is that you shouldn't give any weight to intrusive thoughts; don't be a dumbass like me.

Obsidian and Quartz have never been seriously aggressive towards me. Gamzee was at one point, though.

Gamzee has.

We were exploring the dangerous part of our wonderland and things went bad. Gamzee became stressed out and attacked me.

I believe all of my Tulpas like me. Every time I feel like they hate me, I instantly recieve a feeling of love from Obsidian and Quartz. (Gamzee's been very quiet ever since he attacked me. He's 'grounded.')

 

What was your worst fight with your Tulpa?

 

Gamzee attacking me in the mindscape. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of or played Doors to the Mind, but I was playing that and invited my Tulpas. Gamzee ended up locking me in one of the rooms and I honestly thought I was going to die (I'm a system, so I assume someone else would have taken over in my place.)

Yep, sometimes she has to burn me in order to get a point across.

Spontaneously, no. Over the time, Twi became grumpy. The adorable type of grumpy.

The former happened only once, the latter happens every now and then when I seriously fuck up.

I don't remember the details, and it's best left that way.

 

It might seem from these answers that we're constantly fighting, but she never does anything bad to me without reason. And I'd rather chop my own arms off than even consider getting rid of her.
