ableddistress February 4, 2016 February 4, 2016 It should be up to the tulpa what form they have. Tulpas: Gabriel Rebecca Alyssa
SickAsFrick February 17, 2016 February 17, 2016 I'm new to this site, and I've been attempting to create my first tulpa. As soon as I joined this forum, I realized how many people have been creating horrible physical forms for their tulpas, such as rabbits and ponies... I believe most people should aim toward a more humanoid figure. Unfortunately this site is mostly comprised of creative bronies who feel that their tulpas are actual beings, when in reality they are realistic hallucinations. Someone explain to me how its come to this, I probably sound like a douche, but I'm being honest. Their tulpa, not yours.
Guest Anonymous February 17, 2016 February 17, 2016 There is a small percentage of tulpamancers out there that are elitist/snobbish for various reasons. Luckily, it seems to be a small minority.
Flandre February 17, 2016 February 17, 2016 People keep bringing this should-be dead thread back up.. It was a troll, guys, don't fall for it. No value is gained by replying here anymore. Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise. I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him. Ask us stuff - https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas

I wouldn't be quick to say "troll" here, trolls are not so direct and plain as this guy here is. We don't get too many folks just popping in and saying how they think everything here is fake often, or complaining about why people prefer the forms they do, but they do exists, thought they're the loudest on places like reddit and tumblr. I'd assume it's more about the desire to be among serious people who are serious about the practice, a vibe that's wrecked when you see people with cartoon characters as forms, and said cartoon characters have the aspect of wish fulfillment. This is not to say that we should bend over for them. My own situation, writings, and products in this makes me appreciate a place where I can share things about my experience, even if I have to preface them, explain them in detail, and make sure I understand my own inner mechanics enough that I'm not bulldozing someone else's suspension of disbelief. In other places, I'd either be completely unable to do so at all; having to keep the fact that I regularly speak and interact with the "characters" I draw a secret, or I would not have enough people around to actually share with. Sock Cottonwell's Sketchbook, Journal, and Ask thread. Peace
Guest Anonymous February 17, 2016 February 17, 2016 Tulpa Info is unique. Mistgod and I have accounts on most of the other thoughtform dedicated forums, but are not very active there. Here is where we keep coming back, even more than to our art accounts on Deviantart. This where we can best share everything about little ol' me and also rub elbows with intelligent, creative people who understand what a tulpa and a thoughtform is and can relate to things like a fantasy world that is very significant and persistent. Whether people are making pony tulpas, marrying their waifu tulpas or want to commune with Mr. Spock in their Star Trek Wonderland, we could care less. We enjoy all of it. LOL The super serious, the whimsical, the metaphysical and the sexual. I would hate to see parameters and limits put on what people can imagine and do with tulpamancy.
