Tulpa Info is unique. Mistgod and I have accounts on most of the other thoughtform dedicated forums, but are not very active there. Here is where we keep coming back, even more than to our art accounts on Deviantart. This where we can best share everything about little ol' me and also rub elbows with intelligent, creative people who understand what a tulpa and a thoughtform is and can relate to things like a fantasy world that is very significant and persistent.

Whether people are making pony tulpas, marrying their waifu tulpas or want to commune with Mr. Spock in their Star Trek Wonderland, we could care less. We enjoy all of it. LOL The super serious, the whimsical, the metaphysical and the sexual. I would hate to see parameters and limits put on what people can imagine and do with tulpamancy.

Indeed, this is a unique place with a unique outlook on things. Despite there being folks who say their headmate just popped up, working on further development and growth is still held as a virtue. Despite some claims to the contrary, people don't value each other here for being special or unique, really. If anything, it brings suspicion, and an insistence to continue work, or to examine the self more closely rather than anything else. If people are valued, it's for other qualities, not their abilities to create thought folk. This reality goes against much of the accusations of mass roleplay, though this is not to say the environment is perfect, or that there are no problems here at all.

Exactly.

There is much more to Tulpa Info than pony tulpas or not pony tulpas or whether to have sex with your tulpa. I think Tulpa Info is broadening in depth and scope, at least I hope so.

It was a troll, no normal person titles the thread "Complaint - all users read" and then insults everyone. That is.. the most obviously trolling title of a thread I've ever seen. Like they didn't even try.

If it wasn't a troll then they were too stupid tactless in their approach to deserve any real discussion.

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.

I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

It seems that it is to my view, though I think that some more rigor here and there can be helpful. Just as there is a deal of hard logic and groundedness in art and design, there is some groundedness in the process of creating a tulpa, which at times is lost when the other reality of creation, that each experience and process is a bit different, is overemphasized. This is not to say that I don't think the processes of creation are not vast, and the methods varied. Rather, it's a comment on those who come in and say "I've been forcing for two days and have had no progress, what do?"

I've been coming to the idea that the process was a two way street. Not only does the form need to be created, but the person needs to learn how to properly differentiate thoughts, note consistencies, and listen to what they hear, as well as keep doing it. But that may be appropriate for another thread altogether.

His other post was in Hyne Cross's art request thread, which is filled with requests but only one piece of art. He seemed to be going for a more "dark" form, as compared to the general cuteness you see in these parts. I think he was sincere in his way, but was turned away because the community did not fit his idea of what a tulpa community should be. I wouldn't be surprised if he quite development as well, we already have more than enough examples when the community around a subject turns others off, or turns them against said subject.

So I'd go with tactless. Trolls, from my experience, have a more gleeful edge to their behavior. They want to see people get angry, and since the nature of the internet keeps them safe from consequences, they will go to some length to get it. When in disguise, they will try to fit in as best as possible, and will cause chaos and disorder while still technically following the rules, such that the authorities of the community can't do much about them. In addition, they are persistent, a troll would not stop posting after a single thread, he'd keep stringing the users along and getting them riled up, not just post a controversial thread and stop.

Trolls are actively malicious and want to cause trouble, not merely disagreeing with certain aspects of the community, which has become the more popular interpretation of the word. Of course, if simply disagreeing makes people angry...then that makes the entire group easily toyed with. This is something to be identified, and avoided.

I didn't know they had another post 'cus it just said 1. I still don't care though, those completely devoid of tact shouldn't be writing to large amounts of people. And if they do, they shouldn't be telling literally everyone to read what they have to say, especially not complaints. And after all that, they really shouldn't top it off with an offensive comment that is purely opinion with no real backing behind it.

I knew they might not be a troll, there's always a chance who you think is a troll is just really bad at communicating with their fellow humans. But I've found it's better to assume they are, because then you aren't so upset over what they said anymore.

I don't think It's too great to get upset over something like that, really. Though I will not pretend I'm somehow immune to it, or don't feel self-conscious about such things. After all, I'm prone to keeping things like this a secret, feeling insecure about the make-up of my group not only to outsiders, but to those inside the community as well. In fact, I've been becoming aware that framing my experience properly has been encroaching on my actual interactions with my girls, something I consider a problem and have been wanting to deal with as such.

I guess it's just a thing of mindset and history. I'm used to trolls being a somewhat normal thing, as well as more insensitive or even tactless comments either being normal, or praised, so I don't get riled up as much when I see them.

I think my favorite part about this thread is that someone is complaining about another person's thought(form(s)). There's NOTHING that you can do at this point in time to stop or regulate what they will force their tupper's form to be. It's a good laugh at best.

Thought police, GO!!

Seriously thought, the first post of this thread is impressively stupid. This isn't like disagreeing with someone's body piercing, or their opinions. This is their thought form, you don't even see the thing most of the time. The OP is literally trying to be the thought police.
