Reisen actually came from a music video of Capsule's "Jumper", remade with the character Reisen. It reminds me of everything that makes her "her" and everything I love about her. Our favorite song is
(translated title).

Similarly, Flandre has

and Halozy - Can You Feel My Love, and Tewi has
and
.

Those are what I would call my "Tulpas' favorite songs", the ones they're most attached to. I would attribute those more to feeling connected with them, since we generally have the same "favorite songs" for the same reasons. Besides Worshiper, which I found recently, they're are all songs associated with times of strong development of my tulpas.

That post's pretty old though, so a couple updates. First, I've retroactively changed all the links to Jumper I could find on the forum to my own reupload on Dailymotion as it's impossible to watch on Youtube unless you live in Japan. Second, our favorite song is actually now

, which is a remix of one of the two songs/videos Reisen came from, but is now more universal for all of my tulpas. Third, since all I did was quote an old link, I'll put a few songs for Scarlet too.

She's basically my tulpa of "strong emotion" even though she doesn't often do anything tulpa-like, so she's got a few songs she likes. There's literally only three, so I'll just link them all. First, the primary song attached to her initial development - the title is a coincidence, I swear, but this was the main song we forced with when she came back a year after I thought she was dead - Blossom Nightfall - Rebirth. Not a picture of her by the way, that's Flandre. Second is a song that she actually picked herself, which is extremely rare for any of my tulpas honestly:

. Third is one I just recently found, but her and I both like the feel of the song: Kill la Kill's "Blumenkranz". Scarlet seems fond of German songs, she says it's a powerful-sounding language. Funny that every single one we find someone is either complaining about how bad German songs are, or that the song is an exception to that norm.

Yes the hugepost was necessary. Our music means a lot to us.

Edit: I just realized a lot of my and my tulpas' favorite songs have voices extremely similar to theirs. Reisen's is a mix of Jumper and Bunny Big Explosion, and Scarlet's is the same as Rebirth. The others aren't quite with these songs though, so I redirect you to a much better post that isn't horribly out of date. Dreams of Lost is Tewi's voice and Qualia is Flandre's. I'd be hard pressed to find Lucilyn's, though.

A few years later edit: Screw Youtube. PM me if you really want any of those songs and can't find them. Screw Youtube.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

We have a lot of favorites that define us and our most important moments together, since I often talk to him when listening to music. This one, however, manages to capture his soul (and our bond) perfectly, so this song it’s almost sacred to us.

The title refer to a passage of Dante’s Comedy. The lyrics are in archaic Italian, here is the translation if anybody is interested.

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
