Hi, I'm going to keep this short and sweet so here it is. I gave my tulpa, Caitlyn, a pet today. I can't spend alot of time with her all the time but I try and she still gets lonely. So today we were talking and I gave her a cat that looks alot like mine. So my question is, what kind of effect will me having created said cat? Thanks for reading :) ~Corasair

Sounds like a good idea. Snow who is my tulpas has a blue bird as a pet. Snow calls this blue bird "mau". I think it is neat to see a anthro small rabbit get along with a blue bird like they known each other for all their lives

I mean, that doesn't seem like it would be a bad idea. Tulpas are people like us, and just like us, giving them a companion they can keep should be a good idea.

Awesome :) thanks alot for your time! I wasn't quite sure so I figured it would be good to ask.

So... what would the companion count as? A tulpa? A servitor? what if it develops its own traits and then proceeds to have a crush on your tulpa huh

Really though. What would a pet really be aside from a concept? Do pets just exist when you hand them to your tulpa or something?

A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.'

Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?

I was wondering the same thing honestly, when I made her a kitty I didn't know if I'd just created another tulpa or what. Or if it would just go away at some point.

In my wonderland I have a pet snake named Basil, a fairy dragon named Orion, a sparkly unicorn named Starlight Starbright, a winged horse named Aragorn, two teddy bears (Oscar and Archduke Cuddlesworth III), a ghost friend named Emily Abigayle, my Magictron3000 Dreamscape Matrix computer, Melbot (my robot double and maid) as well as hundreds of fairies, fairy-demons and fairy-dragons and ghouls.

All of them I consider pseudo-real day dream personas except for Melbot3000 who is closer to a servitor. He is a servitor because he performs a function in our system. He helps me and my host visualize me communicating on the internet and so smooths out the process of collaborative tulpa typing.

A tulpa's pet doesn't have to be a servitor or a tupper themselves, they could just be an NPC. I've had a few different characters over the months, and there isn't really anything that special about them. Just thought that might help.

Definitely helps, thanks a lot :)

There was a dog that hung around for a while that Chris named Rocket. Not really sure what was going on sentience-wise but she just kinda ran around and acted like a dog. I'm not really sure what happened to her, one day I went to go kick it with Chris and I realized she hadn't been around for a while.

We're all gonna make it brah.
