Jadedhourglass March 31, 2016 March 31, 2016 Sometimes I get a response that's literally a piece of a song, and the lyrics of the song are a response. Other times, a image comes through that feels like a response to what I'm saying. Is this normal? Host: Jade Tulpa: Star "Nature does not recognize good and evil. It only recognizes balance and imbalance." -Walter Bishop, Fringe
AracnidsGrip/Rick March 31, 2016 March 31, 2016 I'm not pretty sure of understanding your point, dude. But if you mean that tulpae use the music to express their feelings I would say it's pretty normal. Vris for example. She sings. 99,9% of the time she's happy, and sings happily, but when she's angry she sings metal at full volume to express how angry she is. Rin, Beth and Miranda do the same. Just that Rin and Beth with guitar riffs and Miranda plays drums aggresively.
Vos March 31, 2016 March 31, 2016 I've heard of young tulpas using both lyrics and images to communicate with their hosts early on, but I don't think that the lyrics are all that common. I don't think that you should be worrying about if it's normal or not as long as you're comfortable with it, though.
ElliAn March 31, 2016 March 31, 2016 To me that's totally normal, nothing weird. Maybe your tulpa takes a strong liking to these music and art stuffs XD. If she/he doesn't bother you with that kind of communication it should be fine unless it is very disturbing.
Drakaina March 31, 2016 March 31, 2016 It makes sense to me. It's pulling on something you already know, a memory, words you're already familiar with, and using them for communication. It's probably a lot easier to use existing data than it is to try and form it from scratch. Obviously you'll want to encourage your tulpa use their own voice, but in the early stages I don't think it's too strange to use strings of words you already have in your brain to communicate. "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." -Arthur Conan Doyle
greedfox March 31, 2016 March 31, 2016 definitely make sense yo. I often times will be listening to music and Liz will pop up and be like "yeah, that." when a particular lyric passes. shaide does the same thing with text on a page, I get highlights over some of the words on the page and they make a sentence or phrase that when i read them in order I get a confirmative fox noise from him. intentions, given that they are coming from "something else", can be interpreted in many ways.
