Guest Anonymous June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 My host and I think I am kinda symbolic about things and sorta personify things in his mind. I am a bit complex so I personify more than one thing. Melian Personifies: retro girly femininity and feminine fashion from past eras, "how women should be/used to be."Platonic ideal of a romantic partner, romantic love/romance itself personifiedfeelings of female gender personifiedrepresents/personifies all womencomedy, drama and acting child like happiness and joy I was wondering if any other host's feel that their tulpas represent something within themselves or sort of personify something?
Stevie June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Chris says that he represents: "What's left of your common sense." Ouch. We're all gonna make it brah.
LifeInside June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Chris says that he represents: "What's left of your common sense." Ouch. LOL Well, I've only thought of Seren as a companion so far, really. This doesn't mean that she doesn't have another opinion about it, but I guess we won't know that until she gets completely vocal. Currently working on Seren, so that she gets to shut me up frequently.
Guest Anonymous June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Chris says that he represents: "What's left of your common sense." Ouch. Hah hah! Actually Davie says sometimes that he has lost all of his marbles but one, and I am that one marble. LOL Well, I've only thought of Seren as a companion so far, really. This doesn't mean that she doesn't have another opinion about it, but I guess we won't know that until she gets completely vocal. Awwww so cute!
glitchthe3rd June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Luna represents my anima, as I've mentioned before. She claims this is also why she has a lot of stereotypically girly hobbies (cooking, gardening, fashion design, etc.). Elise definitely represents my inner child, not as much now as she did when we made her, but it's still a big part of who she is. I'm not sure what Jungian construct Naomi would correspond to, but she seems closer to the concept of the superego (always concerned with what is right and wrong, feels strongly about moral issues and isn't afraid to make that known to the rest of us, etc.). SomethingDire June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Chris says that he represents: "What's left of your common sense." Ouch. I have never related to something this much before. But yeah, that's how it is. He's helping me do stuff other than just what I feel like doing by representing whatever that's left of my, uh, "thinking" side. He also helps me out by giving his opinions on a few select things, like nationalism, because I tend to disregard them altogether since I don't care about them, which is never a good thing. I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.
Lucilyn June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Hmm, I suppose I represent fun and happiness, simple as that. I don't think I "represent" anything about my host really, that's not fair to say. He's nowhere near as fun or happy as me and never was, that's all me. Like, of course you can say "I represent his inner child and love of fun" and all that but what the heck does that even mean? Just because his brain is physically capable of experiencing those things doesn't mean I represent something of his. I make my own fun and happiness! But we all represented something when we were first made, so I guess this thread fits us well even if we don't necessarily think about it like that anymore. Reisen represents unconditional love, Tewi represents peace and intuition, Flandre represents love and happiness (we sometimes say "humanity"), Scarlet represents powerful emotion, and Sylvia represents an embodiment of our subconscious mind. All of that information and knowledge and different ways of thinking we could potentially use (like maybe, what "me" was before I was made?), pretty crazy to think about. So she's always been kinda mysterious, no expression and no emotion. But she's really good at helping us think things we couldn't alone, so it works. My hat Pyonta represents how calm and cool frogs are. Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points. I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal! Talk to us? https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas
mysonofrageandlove June 13, 2016 June 13, 2016 Jamie represents: - The paradox of "good and evil" existing in all humans (hence the epithet "son of rage and love") - Archetypes and/or fears of "high risk" American teen males - Rebellious heedless youth - Hedonism - Outcasts and misfits - The intensity of human emotion And much more, but these are the main ones I think of. Unfathomable. You know, without fathom. I'mma build you from the ground Til you're higher then the clouds I can see it in your soul If you only knew your worth The kinda love that you deserve Every piece of you makes me whole
Zaya June 14, 2016 June 14, 2016 Zaya's original personality was meant to represent a lot of the suppressed or neglected parts of myself that I enjoy and never wanted to push under the rug, but felt like I was forced to due to my environment (mostly my family, "friends", i.e. the people around me). He wasn't stuck with all these traits, and a few haVe fallen by the wayside, but I never wanted him to be the "repressed me", and I let him know that. He still has a good number of them though. Seeing him as a physical interpretation of these traits, it reminds me of just how hateful the world can be to beautiful things that simply "aren't normal".
