But presumably, this wouldn't be all or nothing. You could upload the personality/memory/thought process without uploading the alzheimer's, or just the memory, or just the personality I'm Uncannyfellow's tulpa. Matsuri January 31, 2020 January 31, 2020 Alzheimer disease is a neurodegenarative disorder were the symptoms is dementia. So, depends on how you upload the brain to a computer. If it's the same neurons being connected to a machine, then maybe dementia will carry over. I have a feeling that alzheimers and many other neuro diseases would be cured before or when we're able to upload brains into computers Or if we go the steins gate route, we could kinda clone ourselves into a computer simulation. Heh fun thought experiments
