Can mediums "see" tulpas?

Recommended Posts

Mysticism isn't really my thing or something I care about much but I have been curious from time to time. It intrigues me at least from a human behavior phenomenon and I still wonder from time to time if there is "something to it." Specifically I'm wondering if tulpas leave a mystical or spiritual footprint. Can someone trained "see" them? I'm skeptical that I'll ever "believe in spirits" or anything but I'm curious if those that do believe can see them. Also I guess I'm mostly thinking in the context of seeing someone else's tulpa, not just their own, on the spiritual plane, spirit form, etc.

I don't think it could ever happen, but I had a daydream/fantasy that it would be crazy if a medium or someone could "spot" Jaina without any prompting by me. The skeptic in me believes mediums are just really skilled "people readers," rather than having a connection or vision but I'm suspending that disbelief for the purposes of the topic. As I understand, tulpamancy has strong roots in eastern mysticism and so it's not a completely outlandish notion.

I doubt it, but I would be greatly entertained if a psychic reacted to us switching and greatly disappointed if they don't catch it. In theory, psychics pay attention to body language to try and more effectively bamboozle you, it would be hilarious if they thought we were possessed by a demon or something.

I'm Ranger, GrayTheCat's cobud (tulpa), and I love hippos! I also like cake and chatting about stuff. I go by Rosalin or Ronan sometimes. You can call me Roz but please don't call me Ron.

My other headmates have their own account now.

If I missed seeing your art, please PM/DM me!

Pretty much thinking along the same lines. 😄 What do you mean there's a tall redhead standing behind me? Making silly faces at us? Are you high?

Unless a Tulpa is a separate spirit we've invited into our bodies, I find it highly unlikely. Interesting question, though!

Doc (she/her) = Host

Franklyn (he/him) = Tulpa

This actually sounds like something you could make an experiment around if you have the time. It would be interesting to see the results.

Hi, I'm Michael, I'm the original member of the Candlelight Society. We're a system of 17 including myself.

I'm Shade, the first tulpa. I'm fairly reserved but love philosophy, reading, teas, and experiencing what life has to offer <3

I'm Dawn, one of the most active tulpas in thr system and also the most fun loving/party girl type. I'll see you all around!

In our system there is also Spark and Ember, Cinderella, Astra, Scarlet, Jade, Rarity, Aqua, Ignis, Tony, Majima, Sera, and just Monika~

So, if we are essentially creating a partition in our brain for a second, third, fourth... tulpas in our mind, and some believe we bring them into the afterlife with us because they are an entire person, does that imply that we either split a part of our soul with them? that we share the same soul? Or that we... The human host, created a soul for our tolpa. And the medium would be able to see that spirit. If they are truly a spiritual medium and not just a skilled walking lie detector.

Spoiler

Char's Harem:
Host- Max 37 yo Male
Tulpa - Char (Charlette), 22 yo (4 days realized) Female/Futanari
Servitor (active)- Precious, Female baby girl/ sister-sub

Servitor (inactive)- Joc Male Bull

If they can't, don't take that the wrong way. If they can, then they may not see them the way you see them.

Metaphysics aside, I doubt it sincerely because it's extremely rare and they're not going to likely even consider that.

Metaphysically speaking everything they see is up to their own interpretation and bias but it's certainly possible.

Not a very religious of spiritual person, but the handful of "mediums" I've walked by never noticed anything strange about me, neither did the one who spoke to me in-depth at an activity. I think the only time someone like that would notice is if you switched while speaking to them, which other similarly attentive people may notice as well.

Slipper (cringelord host) and Mordecai (the brain gremlin).

I must admit I find it odd that so many people who are into this sort of thing do not believe in medium work!

Yes there are a LOT of frauds out there, and even genuine practitioners are subject to exhaustion, dishonesty, bias, miscommunication/misinterpretation, interception, etc., but there are genuine mediums who can invoke and speak to the genuine spirits of the deceased. At least, I know I have a personal experience talking to a dead person via a medium that told me things the woman in question could not have possibly known or guessed.

As for the question at hand, I am curious as to the answer to. It could be yes, no, yes AND no. Any answer would, in my opinion, be extremely valuable to tulpamancy/magic as a science. It would reveal a fundamental truth: either that tulpas truly do possess a spirit, truly exist solely in the mind, or have a variety of fundamental existence that is based entirely on the creator.

Maybe after I have sufficiently developed my tulpa I will try to test it out with a medium...although the one true medium I know may not be interested in speaking to me.

It wouldn't so much be them seeing your tulpa, more them seeing how your tulpa affects your energy and vibration.

To my current level of understanding, the closest a medium would get to seeing a tulpa is noticing your aura changing colors when you interact with your thoughtform. That may require the medium doing an aura reading or using Kirlian cameras with spirit photography to prove the change.

Alternately, a medium well-trained in clairaudience and mind-reading MAY be able to infiltrate the Broca and Wernicke's Areas of your brain to tap into your internal conversations. That may require using BCIs with EEG rates to record the change in your brainwave frequencies below 16Hz, which are related to internal speech. Or, it may require using EVP or a spirit box/ghost box to record the conversations, but the chances of internal dialogue being that loud are basically nil unless you channel your tulpa.

You'd either have to trust the accuracy of a medium with second sight or clairaudience, or believe in the credibility of psychic equipment in proving claims.
