Amazing sketch! It's so detailed. Is this restaurant a reference or is this Byakko lore?

I looked back at some of your previous art too, and it's all awesome. I liked the you and Rena one's faces and Byakko's barefoot chaos energy

Note: I'm hit-or-miss activity-wise on this account. I may not respond to PMs for awhile.

I'm Ranger, GrayTheCat's cobud (tulpa), and I love hippos! I also like cake and chatting about stuff. I go by Rosalin or Ronan sometimes. You can call me Roz but please don't call me Ron.

My other headmates have their own account now, but it's outdated and I can't be bothered to update it

If I missed seeing your art, please PM/DM me!

I'm impressed that you managed to do that a work, great job!

I hope you manage to find out a good way to convert sketchs to digital art eventually!

Silly bar maid energy! Eara looks both worried and cute. Aww...

It's like some kind of Fantasy pub, only it's near the sea, with the hooks and the big... shark... is it...?

thanks, glad you like it!

also those aren't hooks, they are like, things holding up a shelf for decorations i guess. i referenced and used an interior shot of double r diner and great northern hotel from twin peaks as references for the inside, though i made up the swordfish thingy, i didn't use reference for the fish so it probably doesn't look right

i think i'd do better at backgrounds and environments if i just reference other environments from movies or shows, and twin peaks is one of my favorites

the roleplay that involves those characters does take place usually in an area close to the sea, as it is a small island nation, though i'm unsure of exact size.

Yes...! I see it now. And the rounded edge at the end of the shelf. I just glossed over it earlier.

No the swordfish definitely looks right, I just couldn't think of the name, I should have looked it up, my bad.

That sounds like a good idea! Being captivated by beautiful scenery will inspire you! Just remember that using a bad reference is bad, so ideally you want a reference with smooth and simple planes, not convoluted. It sounds like I'm advising you, oh no! Anyway, I believe in you! You can overcome that art block!

Interesting...! I like the idea that every still life scene picture has a story behind it, and that the picture captures the suggested movement and the emotions of the scene.

Here is a text advertisement that I thought of just now:

> The sea shanty restaurant is the location to go to for fast service and deep bonds with local roots, explore our exquisite cuisine with all the tastes of the ocean, just ask one of our trained friendly staff for a personal recommendation of our finest fish, crab, squid, and shrimp, available Monday to Friday from 10PM to 4PM, we'll SEA you there!

We look forward to your next art piece! Lots of good luck to you TB!
